Who would we give up for Butters???
Butters is better than margarine. His sideways kicking in the wet conditions is something else. Along with JHF and Rozzzzzzeeeee, the Swampies have plenty to build on. Gonna make for a cracking showdown in a few months.
I’d like to think our boys watched some of that and said, this is the level, this is the level of intensity and skill we need to reach. But they’re probably playing AFL23 or FIFA.

Steady on now. Ed has played 213 games. Butterss has only played 78.
That makes Ed three times the player. They'll have to include steak knives

The courage and fearless approach from both teams in the last quarter was of the highest standard. Pressure and body slamming was in abundance. Im suprised there was not more head clashes. Geez afl can brutal sometimes.

Yep, genuine 41 possessions, not harvesting the easy handball receive. Against a quality midfield and in driving rain for much of the game.
Top notch game by Butters.
I can understand that we have no one else available but it does feel a bit off seeing Ports kids popping off in big games.
Then looking at our side and knowing Ed is the best we have available at the moment.
Hope we nail the draft this year.
