We aren't actually 7th. We are equal 3rd with a game up our sleeves.
Just looked at the ladder, Freo with 228 points scored against less than us, that is a ripping effort and the Dees 145 less than us but having played an extra game.

Sucks for us on the ladder but dees losing is good. They aren’t invincible.
Good form and the least amount of injuries to your best team and it’s an open & even season…
Looks like a lot of the better clubs are capable of beating anyone on their day atm…
Hope we can get some players back and stay relatively good on the injury front without anymore players going down long term…
Close to our strongest team, our best this year is right up there and we can definitely challenge anyone, particularly if we can narrow the consistency gaps…

1976 Collingwood finished 12th (wooden spoon).
1977 they lost GF2 after drawing GF1. So close - so sad.

I only seen the incident once on video and was at the match live and never noticed it.
Assume umpire on same side as me and did not see it.
It was only a split second so easy to miss.

So if he did, got the free and kicked the goal, you wouldn't have celebrated?
There's so much going on in those moments, it's hard for the umpire to catch everything, especially when they are on the wrong side of the play. I'd rather the frees that are there are paid.
Walsh was grabbed high, nothing wrong if he rocks his head back to make sure the umpire sees it. That's not the same as throwing the head back with no contact.

Do not know but I find this amazes me. The ladder position of round 9 in 1945. We only have 3 wins after 9 rounds.
Only 3 teams below us on ladder at that point. We also had lost a match but 100 points already in that season.
Look up whom won the premiership in 1945... Crazy...

If we can stay in top 8 and we get those players back we win flag hands down. With a full team we are close as we’ve ever been to 1995 level good.

What’s different about this year is Voss and team are making tweaks/improvements as the season moves along. Previously we couldn’t make any positive changes during season changes.
