That's a given. Clearly the better team according to the commentators apart from the fact that Freo kicked a significantly higher score than them.

Pitt is a far better ruck than Andrew Phillips and not to mention five years younger. Pitt averages more disposals, more marks, more contested possessions and a better hit out to advantage % (despite being a number 1 ruck compared to Phillips who comes up against second rucks).

*Apologies marks Phillips is slightly ahead (0.6 more a game) I just read it wrong.

Pittonet also averages 16 more supercoach ranking points a game. Not seeing how Phillips is at the same level as Pitt let alone better

Well raw stats weren't enough so thought a ranking points system would mean something. Either way I am not seeing how Phillips is in any way better

Phillips is a battler in every sense of the word. Played 27 games for us in 4years due to fitness and form and has averaged about 8 games a year for the bombers.
Got flogged by Darcy last night and Freo kicked 5 or 6 goals direct from centre bounces.
Pittonet is a significantly better ruckman in terns of hitouts to advantage. Every now and then Phillips does something that looks good. Not very often though.
Grass isnt always greener on the other side.

Having seen the "why did we give up stocker" and the "why did we give up Phillips," posts this weekend I'm just waiting for the SPS post to make up the highly unbelievable trifecta.
Lots of people on here go to the tip with with a boot full and come back with two boot fulls .

Pittonet is stronger and more durable than Phillips. He wouldn't have been thrashed/ embarrassed last night like Flipper was (and I liked Phillips when he was with us)
His body is also about cooked, many * fans expect Phillips to either retire or be delisted at the end of the season.
