Which part applies? It's not wasting time as the clock was stopped. The handing the ball to a team mate part means incorrect disposal in general play.

Don’t mind the draws. Can’t fathom the thought of overtime.

I am torn.
Happy that it was paid against Collingwood and cost them.
Disappointed that an umpire has so little feel for the game.
Be interested to hear from all the sooky Freo fans who lost their minds about the umpires when we beat them.
Even 39 for them in the passage to put them a draw, did a duck in the middle and received a free

You know that many years ago (might have been 1982) we were leading * getting near the end of a game and Mike Fitzpatrick had either a mark or a free and was using up as much time as possible.
Instead of calling play on the umpire paid a free kick against him for time wasting and * went on to win the game as a result. Lost a few big bets as a result.
Tonight's umpire looked eerily similar to that one back then but has lost his hair.

The rule back then was correct (unfortunately) that the umpire can pay a free kick for time wasting - now in same circumstances the umpire would call play on.
The umpire back then who called that free kick on Fitzpatrick (it was 1981) was Ian Robinson who habitually torched us.

Freo’s handball game was one of the worst I can remember - floating handballs, handballs at teammates feet, handballs to teammate with opponent in pocket etc
They really are a rubbish side, very soft at the contest, surprised they have won 6 games tbh.
