And the year after the AFL changed the qualification criteria for a priority pick which meant instead of us getting a priority pick at the start of the first round we got it at the end of the first round - meant we got Pick 1, 17, 19 instead of Pick 1, 3 and 19.

With things like this Agro, I always like to console myself with the view that we would have taken the wrong player and failed to develop them anyway.

I dunno… I was sold on Collingwood last year, less so this year. They’re still a very good team, and I wouldn’t want to be less than about 20 points up on them going into the last two minutes (

Went to the game last night with my best mate whose a dogs supporter and that third quarter by N.Daicos was unreal he just blew the game apart.
The first goal he kicked when he burst through the pack and reverse banana kicked it was so special, we just looked at each like wtf lol … the pies are seriously good which hurts me to say

Not saying he’s no good but who would he displace from our current lot of mids?
Imo Walsh and cerra already do what he does plus a bit more. I’d rather someone a bit more dynamic and smarter user of the ball. Which is unlikely to happen given our apparent tight cap.

I wouldn't.
Hasn't put together a good season in almost 3 years and has off field issues (mainly due to reported llicit substance abuse) that we should steer well clear of.
Not worth the risk or trade capital it would cost us to get him.

Fair enough, but we do have other spots that need filling first.
Bailey is imo a very talented player, Bevo does not seem to be getting the best out of him atm.
Maybe, he needs a fresh start somewhere else.
We do need a quality ruckman, better than Pitt. If TDK leaves.
A quality small forward is something we have been lacking. Durds and Motts will make it, but still a couple of seasons away from being at their best.
So bearing these things in mind, you are right. Really no chance, that Bailey comes to us imo.
