So the bad news is, Port winning puts then at least 2 points beyond us so we need Melbourne to win lose the final x2 games to possibly get to #4 and, probably, play Collingwood at the MCG 1st week of the finals

The GOOD news is we are mathematically impossible to not make the finals now as all of *, Giants and Geelong would need to win both their last two games to go above us on points and * and GWS play each other next week so

Disregard. Sydney beating Adelaide and the above would see us in 9th.

Precisely. As unlikely as it may be, just two of the teams outside of the eight have to win their remaining games if we stay on 50 points.

While people are prematurely proclaiming 'MATHEMATICALLY IMPOSSIBLE', all I have in my mind is 2012.

The team is capable, but I hope they aren't going into next weekend as complacent as some people's maths skills on here.

So an average sort of weekend, unless you're me and my cousins who attended the game. Drove over from Adelaide just for the match.
