Except the Swans didn't really win on the weekend.

AFL amateur hour at its best....
Yeah "most likely" they wouldn't have won... nor did they really beat North... take those strokes of luck out and you'd have Adelaide in the 8 with WB, * out by percentage or half a game for Geelong which would make this weekend still very alive and well... Oh and West Coast would still have Reid.

edit: and we'd be officially locked into a home final as we couldn't finish below 6th

.

This is pretty tone deaf posting, even for the AFL

They can't exactly stop promoting the season, last round or finals because the Crows copped a bad call.

No choice but to soldier on.

Yeah I get that. It's just a bit whiffy. Remember that I live in Adelaide so hearing all about it.
Is there anyone pointing out that the real reason why they lost was because they let a team, who was struggling to make the eight, get 44 points in front while Adelaide was playing a home game with the season on the line.

Western Bulldogs are posting an injunction against the crows for the 1997 prelim loss.

Produced the greatest “goal” celebration in AFL history lol. Right at the start of the fourth quarter, that’s how confident Libba was.

You can not reason with them

You can not reason with them

Remember when Kyle Reese was talking directly to St Kilda supporters about their club in The Terminator?

What would be a better/more fun scenario, us finishing them off in straight sets week 2 or us finishing them off in the GF?
I think straight sets because that will have been 5/6 losses from their final 7 games to go from flag favourites to nowhere and maybe even cripple them for years to come.

I’d have Melbourne as the best rated of the final top 4 contenders, they’ll get Pies first week and are a huge chance of knocking them over on current form, straight into a preliminary final…

Brisbane are still very suspect and beatable away from home particularly on the MCG no matter if it’s a final/GF, Port atm looking the same if they play here too, both strong at home but vulnerable away from home…

Beating Brisbane or Port in an interstate final will take a damn fine effort but not impossible if you play to your maximum capacity…

Rnd 24 Games ...
