Young Lord should have been selected, Dixon has been crap and not up to it for most of year, should have been tapped on the shoulder last year…
Shows that coaches and selection committees can clearly at times have a major impact through poor judgment, favoritism and outright lack of common sense to potentially harming a teams best chances of competing to its best potential…
This is why Kenny needs to go.
TIme to rejuvenate.

Last night was a snooze fest. Watched a quarter and a half, saw the writing on the wall, switched to something else.

Will say, though, that the first final between GWS and Sydney will be the making of Joel Amartey. Bloke couldn't get near it and was soundly beaten for most of the match, but laid a number of playchanging tackles and kicked a goal as part of their burst to win the match.

He's proven that he can work over a quality opponent, that he can get his hands dirty; that he never quits. That's a hell of a quality in a KPF.

If Geelong get through tonight, hope they don’t but if they do, it will be interesting to see Scott’s selections next week. Seniors like Hawkins, Gunthrie and SdK not playing tonight. How ruthless is he?

Hawkins done like Dixon, Guthrie may not last a match and SDK is having a downer year. If some are sore heading into a GF 1-2 may play.

Serious question he’s been a slow burn since being taken in the Rookie Draft, do you think it’s been environment?

Last night’s game was instructive in terms of the benefits of getting a week’s rest while your opponents smash in for the extra game. I’m thinking Cats but then again Lions only played 40 minutes of footy to win the game last week. I think it’s Brisbane’s turn to go all the way.

Brisbane own the narrative, hoping they get home. As a QLDer, a no Vic final would be an interesting development. I’d also like Fagan to stick it to Corn and naysayers by getting one over Scott

Right behind Brions for the W
