Had the “good fortune” to go to the port/cats game. Port were absolutely shit house, but did make the cats defense look pretty ordinary until they totally gave up.
Live, Dixon looks like he has lost a lot of weight/condition maybe to take pressure off of his knees, but he is now a non event as has lost his strength.
But the cats skills were next level.

St Kilda under Ratts did it where he didn't when he coached us. The Dogs do it under Beverage, Mitchell does it at Hawthorn, Richmond did it under Hardwick and GC are doing it now.

Every coach who was at Hawthorn under Clarkson does it as a matter of course.

There are so many makeshift players played half forward flank in the game, it's a specialist position. We're one of the worst at playing makeshift players on the half forward flank. Ginnivan is a genuine half forward flanker, wins the ball in the area of the ground he plays, provides that link between mid/half back and the full forward line. Moir has it. Martin would if he was fit. IMO that is it for us... E Hollands has it a bit but doesn't have the overhead game a genuine half forward has and a few other bits.
