Nah it's genuinely too ****ing loud... they do it in anticipation of the crowd noise peaking and because they want it to thump, but the crowd is rarely that animated and they don't use subwoofers too often.You’re showing your age.

Ad maybe take seriously the age range of the footy attending public..play music inclusive for all ...keep it pretty low. The result? Ear damage from treble peaks you wouldn't be exposed to outside of being next to a speaker at an AC/DC concert.
Two bit AV crew needs to monitor levels and adjust during the match, with a clear eye to safety standards.
