There's a solution waiting for the right club in the right moment for the ducking.

Every time the opposition ducks, ****ing nail them. Slam them into the deck; make serious contact with the head; deliberately ignore all notions of paying appropriate duty of care for your opposition. Actually hit them in the head; actually go out there and drive them into the deck; actually punish them for dropping their heads into a vulnerable spot. Concede the free kick, whilst setting up to concede the free kick - numbers behind the ball - and deliberately tell the AFL that if they choose not to enforce concussion protocals for even incidental contact in each of these circumstances (even if that means the opposition drops to 16 on field) then they will document it in detail and supply it to any set of lawyers who would be interested in it over the next 10 years.

If a player ends up irreversibly injured from it, it will be entirely the AFL's fault for creating a status quo in which sides take advantage of the rules in this way.

Sucking in the big ones. I am struggling to breathe and I'm just watching.

Amazing that Port are playing so well, without their two most important players not named Zak Butters and JHF, against the hottest team in football. This has been a hell of a performance
