no chance of that happening .. they seem to favourites of selectors ..Marshes probably because of their last name and
Finch is well known name in ODIs and T20s so they probably want to give him more chances for Tests i suppose

Mitch Marsh made 180 on an absolute road ffs. Marsh has played 30 tests and has been an absolute failure. It’s time to do him and the country a favour and move him on. You don’t see Handscomb getting booed by the public.

They’re both shit but Handscomb is slightly less shit. Runs on the board dictate this. Your personal perception of who looks more comfortable batting is irrelevant.

180 can’t be ignored in Ashes cricket. PH took a handle of tests to be figured out, and has done next to nothing since. Handscomb is Victorian, Marsh took his spot, go figure.

Statistics from two years ago shouldn’t be taken into account when you consider PH was consistently bowled short to on flat wickets against attacks void of potency.

He went back to a full ball on middle stump, missing it by a yard. For crying out loud, he should never ever be brought into consideration. Ever. Marsh shouldn’t be either, of course, but at least he is coordinated.
