They turned south heel for 0 reason. Like say mcw for example, matthews came back with that arrogance already and then when he turned fully he just let it out and was a smart ass to slex.
South turned because they made him look like a fool time and time again and killed his heat.
But this. I assume troy wins money in the bank and joins the match and wins the belt like what cherry did to win the no.1 contender to the soul title match last year. But it's so lame and robs the moment of anything interesting.

I'm not going to this show - I think i'm largely off DMDU, especially if it's runnings shows at Hoppers Crossing.
I thought it was noteworthy though, given how many issues they've had over the last 12 months, how many new people are on this card, and how many regulars aren't booked. It does raise that question about performers and event staff being owed money.
I think we'll know a lot more when they start announcing competitors for DREAM. Their socials sharing the Benny gofundme said that they'd nearly booked him for DREAM this year - which suggests they were going beyond their regulars.

He is properly trained with one of NSW's 2nd tier promotions; he wasn't hurt doing deathmatch wrestling.

Actually you yourself don't know what you're talking about, jcartwright isn't 100% spot on either but is closer than you.
Suplex isn't a "2nd tier promotion" in NSW they are actually bottom three, nobody takes Suplex seriously and to be blunt it is mainly out of shape dudes who aren't trained well putting on bad (And yes, often dangerous) wrestling matches. Don't take my word for it, go and watch one of their shows on YouTube, they upload plenty.
General consensus in Newy is that if you're serious about being a pro wrestler you go to Newy Pro, lots of Suplex guys who are serious about things end up going over to Newy Pro because of how bad Suplex is.
The one part you are right about is that Benny wasn't competing in a deathmatch he instead was wrestling for the worst promotion in NSW called NCPW where he was wrestling Queensland wrestler Kobra Jones who picked him up for a vertebreaker, performed the move wrong and fractured the young mans vertebrae leaving him laying in the ring for 40 minutes unable to move, horrifying stuff.
Instead of shining a light on the importance of good training and attending a good wrestling school we instead have people such as yourself telling people they don't know what they're talking about and saying that this guy was trained properly when neither him or his opponent were.

Did you speak to anyone? I spoke to 2 people who told me that was the planned finish and it was exactly what they wanted.

I’m any case, go friggen watch it, you wouldn’t be so pigheaded about it if you rewatched it and saw them talking to each other planning the finish.

I don't mind it. I saw OTB complaining about how many Melbourne companies there are, but really outside of the ones that run an hour+ out of town, there's only three that run close to the CBD and none of them have any sort of regular schedule.
And if it's shit people wont go. You're not going to over saturate the market because it's only hardcore wrestling nerds like us who would probably go.

Not sure how many people follow the Sydney scene but FWA is not a good addition to the Melbourne scene or Australian Wrestling in general. Just another "Push the promoter" fed that doesn't draw, last show the Lucha House Party dudes had Fivey locked in a room demanding their money from him and the cops were called for a separate incident when Kid Valiant spat at a ringside fan.
He earned it unlike tnt, phil Picasso etc. I read his fb post. You are the one who's misinformed. He would never put it on himself unless he earned it. Just because they told him he sucked in perth. Look at him now, promotions where top internationals like J which will be revealed soon to having a promotion in 2 states. Jealously will get you all nowhere. Only 43.92 front row seats left
Anyone heard how DMDU return show went Friday night ?

I've seen/heard shockingly little about it. Apparently Baxter/Dusk was excellent, and they had a decent crowd, albeit in a tiny venue.
That's about all I've heard!
I can't wait for DMDU vs FWA supershow!

They're now calling this new building at Hoppers Crossing "DMDU Arena", which is a bit of a piss take after what happened in Footscray.
That's a bummer to me, if they're planning on running Hoppers permanently, that's me done, I'm not going out there to watch wrestling.
I don't know why they didn't do that with the Kindred, I thought that was a cool venue.

That was your thing that made you done with them? The war games show of eternity broke me. The taking people's $ was just a laughable side note.
