two decisions, that last buddy one... have seen it get paid many times before.

the one i want to know is where we got done for holding the ball in the middle with about 8 minutes to go where it seemed that the hawk player just got wrapped up straight after getting the ball and then about 4 players jumped in to get it.. yet we got done? their free turned in to a goal...

Same decision went the Hawks way about a minute before that.

That was one of the few times the umpires were consistent tonight I thought.

I got ahead of myself watching it on delay through Network Ten and checked the scores. WTF? When was the last time Hawthorn was kept scoreless in a quarter? I assume it was a couple of years ago but by god, that's devastating. Goddamnit.

I'm just sick of losing to Geelong now.

Hopefully the big Roughnuts is okay. We can't afford to lose him to a long-term injury. Need to concentrate on winning enough games to finish top four and then look at the finals as the start of a new season.

What does it matter?? At the end of the day, once AGAIN we gave up a winning lead and let Geelong dictate terms in the final QTR. We didn't even score a fricken measly point in the last! A joke.

I look forward to 2050 when we finally notch up a win against Geelong. I have ZERO confidence that this team could beat a paper bag with Geelong written on it. I'm over it.

Wasn't trying to use it as an excuse, was more hoping for an explanation of what went on. I just missed it.

I suspected at the time that Breust's oobotf would be the turning point, or a critical moment in the game, which it was.

Very proud of the boys tonight. Just hope Roughy going down doesn't affect them mentally. I know there's a troll going around saying we were mentally soft tonight but actually we were amazingly strong to stop the Cats run, hold up with players falling down injured all over the park.

Joel Selwood is an amazing player but he us umpired differently to any other player in the competition and it's a growing scandal..

Bailey must play every 50/50 game from now on. He makes us a 3 goal better team. Absolutely monstered in the ruck by Ottens, and we were smashed in the clearances early.

Who knows what could have happened, if Breust kicked that goal early in the fourth. Hopefully we move on, and look at next week and give the franchise a smashing.

That's twice this season we had Geelong by the proverbials and couldn't convert it into 4 points. I guess we've got a long way to go. Roughy out won't help. Good effort, poor result.

Bailey doesnt need to be managed? Id rather have him fit for the finals than getting 4 pts against the handbaggers. And Smith, he would have been ground into paste by some of the bigger cats bods.
