I've given him his chances. I have lost all faith that he'll ever amount to anything now. But I hope he and you prove me wrong (another one game wonder is not going to convince me though)He's kicked 4 goals against Geelong before, and that was against Lonergan. Why can't he kick 4 against Essendon?
It's highly unlikely, but after that game a switch could just flick in his brain that just says "I need to go out and prove why I'm in this team."
Hate to say it, but Gia's time as a non-sub is up. With Dickson playing a better game, and players like Koby Stevens playing 50/50 half-forward midfield, and with Smith, Hrovat and Honeychurch to come into the team (not similar players at all but all will be the "5th forward" and rotate into the midfield) I honestly can't see where his role in the team is anymore. Him and Dickson, are simply slower players. It means that Dahlhaus, being quicker, can't play deep forward, he has to play half-forward midfield (Because if Gia or Dickson played that role their opponent half-back would just run off them), and as we all know Dahl's best play is closer to goal (as shown in the last quarter). Back to the green vest and he can get match fitness in the VFL as far as I'm concerned. Massive shame because we all love Gia's contribution to the team in recent years.
If they're merely employees you wouldn't mind them taking up better employment elsewhere?
You can't have it both ways.
If they're going to go, they'll go regardless of what supporters think (unless you're Chris Grant).
I would like to see a bit of pride in the jumper, but I think it's just a job to a lot of players now.

Kicked 4 against the Cats last year.
ps if you're one of the jerks abusing your own players loudly and obnoxiously.
Please try getting an actual job that has high performance requirements, high training commitment and is extremely stressful on your body 7 days a week.
Ya'll be soft as butter.
Smart Arse hahahaY'all?? Holy cow that sounds God awful. Mighty obliged if you be so kind as to leave that kind o language back out in the cornfields with Peggy Sue and little jumpingjones jnr.

Your completely right. I should never have cheered his disposal. Does he have a confidence issue? I thought he had a work rate issue? Im 100% sure Liam Jones doesn't give a stuff what the average supporter thinks. Do you think that Macca is giving him a kiss and a cuddle after a poor game?Because that is definitely the best way to handle a player down on confidence and has had problems with his confidence, and definitely will help absolutely everybody involved, leading to a new and improved culture where the players get booed all the time!
Reckon macca giving him tapes of the game and showing his good form and bad form and what to expand on.Your completely right. I should never have cheered his disposal. As I've said before, if we ignore the defensive side of his game, which was fairly horrendous, his attack from the back half and his explosiveness was amazing, and that's what I focused on rather than his defensive skills, because we know he's not going to be a KPD.The stringer on pods thing was madness, and overall I don't think he had a good game, but it was the closest thing to a glimpse of what jake will become that I think we've had. At times he looked brutal and explosive around the contest (moreso when he went forward/mid IMO) and used it well.
