St Kevins to defeat Old Trinity by 5 points in a classic encounter.St Kevins chances of winning depends on who gets the jobs on Ramsden & Cultrera-two players who hold the key to OTs getting back into A Section.

Who's going to win the G.T.Moore Medal (B Section Best & Fairest player award) on VAFA Vote Count night?

id say it would be out of the following, going on games watched and number of times in best etc

Voss, Simpson, Dowd, Martinov, Jordan, Jessop, Keleher

ill go with Voss closely followed by Simpson and Jordan

u would assume the ormond blokes would struggle to poll well due to their team struggling to win games
would say voss, jordan and simpson
dowd and iezzi probably not having as good a season as their ability suggests but could still suprise

G.T.Moore Medal selections:

1. Voss (OH)
2. Martinov (Orm)
3. Keleher (Orm)
You obviously haven't seen many other teams Jascave. My tip is Dowd or Voss with Keleher polling best for Ormond and maybe in the top five as he has been consistent once again, "Digs" is a player that should have played higher.

OT's by 16 pts, they are the best side we played this year.

If you were there and know 'exactly' what happened then why weren't you used as a witness at the tribunal? If you know 'exactly' what happned then you must have seen the incident with your own eyes.

I find it pretty amazing that you saw the incident (you must have because you know 'exactly' what happened) but didnt testify at the tribunal as a witness to the incident.

Anyway get over it, its old news.

Vafa06's tip for this week: Trinity to beat St. Kev's & earn promotion.

There was a witness and Blicky (ex president who represented Buckers) said that there was no point in getting anymore. After all, it would have just turned into more of a "He said, she said" argument and there was nothing to gain.

Don't get it....

If someone did run up from 50 metres away and king hit a bloke from behind i would hope that they'd get more than 4 weeks. But if that was the case, a question must be asked about Holland's defensive pressure after being 50 metres away from his opponent....???

It is becoming tedious reading Hampton Rovers posts defending a guy who got five weeks.

Looking at the posts it is evident that both the tribunal and the appeals board found him guilty so he can't exactly say that he didn't have an opportunity to defend the charge.

Cmon gents, enough with the sour grapes, move on thanks.

Let's talk about the football.

Rambo and Cults to share 10+ between them and OT to make the GF (just).

I don't think Skevs have a good defensive match up for either of them.

Either way OM's will win it next week.

Saturday:
SKOB v OT (3-4 goals)

Grand Final:
OM v SKOB (5-6 goals)

GT Moore:

Freezer (OM)
Voss (OH)
Jordan (StB)

Outsider: Bishop (SKOB)

cheers

Can Skob 2's make into there 3rd Grand Final in a row ?
They have obviously got good depth down there.

OM's will be hard to beat in both grades i feel. It seems they have finally got things right down there and are playing for the coach rather than inspite of him.

I'm not defending him or saying what he did was right. I'm just telling you the facts. He deserved to get suspended after St. Bernards lodged a complaint for what he did. It's just the way other people are describing the incident, completely wrong.

St Kevins to win this week but couldn't give a stuff.

Plenty of love for skob ther CC!

I think they will bounce back tomorrow and make a well deserved entry back into A grade.

A well balanced side in to take on the OT'S and skobs will be too good.

Medal? Doesn't Kelleher win nearly every year?

Bad luck SKOB, congrats to Mahns and Garv on sensational careers, great fellows and multiple VAFA reps, sensational blokes who will be irreplaceable.
Well done Powelly, Baz and Riz on a great first year.
OT to do a Hawthorn and win it all.
See you all next year.

happy set of results for someone with sportsbet.

all too easy.
good luck to both teams.OM'by 5 or 6 for mine.

Great effort by Brett Chandler and the boys at OT to go from just hanging in there for a finals spot in rd 15-17 to making the Big Dance on the back of a very young list.

Much is made of the evergreen Ramsden/Cultrera combo and with good reason. However, after Tom Healy (30) the next oldest in the side is Brent Walsh (just 27). After that, pretty much everyone else is under 23. This is a good young list going back to A grade in finer fettle than they were for the previous 3-4 seasons.

As for whether the key forwards will continue, well Cults is always a season-by-season proposition, but this will be his first GF for a long time, and he may well continue on. No doubt Rambo will be the next "Disco" Seccull and play into his 40s in my view.

Congrats to O.T. If their 3 guns can play well again next week it could make for a hotly contested granny. Still reckon O.Ms will get the silverware though.

Agree completely with you about 'Garvs', Brian. A gun at his best and top bloke. Reckon he's done the right thing pulling stumps now. Wouldn't like to see him do a 'Disco' and play on well past his use by date.

Looking at your posting history I would say this:
You slag St Kevin's on this forum.
If you were either dropped or played yesterday you are the 'OEG' culture that SKOB don't need.
I dont think a couple of selections here and there would explain two dissapointing finals losses, the guys had a great year and fell short when it mattered most.
Powelly has done an amazing job with the same cattle that struggled for 3 years under two previous coaches, he needs to keep injecting new keen faces so it looks like you will happily give up your spot for one of the APS premiership players, and if you are a senior player then you are not what going to contribute to creating a winning culture.
As far as when did SKOB last win a final? B Section Premiership 5 years ago, which no doubt you were not a member of.

INteresting thoughts Terminator. Who do you think should have played? Why would St Bernards not be the new OEG given they have now lost 3 finals on the bounce? Answer you need to lose many finals over many many years.

Dont think you'll be missed.

Brett Voss won the OH B&F from Froggy Mohammad today. He should give the comp B&F a good shake tmrw night.
Well done to Garvey and Mahoney. Great footballers and seem like top fellas.
Disco is going around again next year! Unbelievable!
