I'm not sure what you're reading, but I'm supremely confident that the newspaper article incorrectly quoted our President. By virtue of the grammar alone you yourself will be able to attest that the hyphen suggests he's bridged separate quotes to become one and as a consequence doesn't reflect well. As previously stated, the matter was resolved by the parties involved. Time dig up some new stuff in stead of re-hashing week old news.
You've made it abundantly clear in the past that you're happy to stir the pot at the expense of making yourself look the fool, so congrats again on another successful campaign.

Micky, I think it is YOU who needs to speak with people closer to the club - have a read, or get someone to read you Page 46 of your local paper and of last weeks paper, then comeback here and state if my comments are FACTS or not, (strange how the same paper can misquote your president 2 weeks in a row and now they have gain comments from Benny in regard to their misquotes - come on Micky, sometimes you just have to man-up and say your wrong or I think it is you who is the fool, so congrats on your 'smoke n mirrors' campaign.

At the end of the CC, that is the past. If Benny feels the club/president has belittled the umpiring fraternity, it needs to be discussed by both parties internally and not commenting in a local paper which in effect is detremental to the league. That is likewise from our club whether misquoted or not.
In saying that the initial reason for giving comment to the paper was to promote the club and get it out there that we had around 100 people for our pre match Ladies Luncheon which all proceeds were donated to the Breast Cancer Foundation & not onfield footy related. I know many like to bag the Rovers but our reason for the article was to promote our charities we consistently support.

Anyhow, back to the footy. We are in need of our boys to improve significantly. Hopefully we can get Corp, Martyn & Turner back soon to help us get on the score board. The grade shows if you lose 10 senior players prior to the year for cash you are going to be in strife (facts not excuses) - and to date that is what has happened. Hopefully we can put in a great performance against OB and notch up our first win.

Although sometimes your comments are insane CC, you do keep this board entertaining! So keep up the factual/non factual posts!

Went to the game for a half and I noticed no Dowds on the weekend, nor Wissel nor your giant ruckman. I also note that only one of your AFL/VFL recruits is playing, when are the others due back from injury? Is Jocca going to play, played against him at school, was a great player.

St Bernards V Marcellin - The home side is on the serious improve while the Eagles may be starting to struggle. Bernies easy at home.
