Well what do you know!!

D.Cullinan Not Guilty!!!!

Now I know for a fact that the evidence from player and umpire was different AND he took the video of the incident as evidence.

The camera was 10 meters from the play, scoreboard end of Marcellin. Which I have now seen.
So there is no doubt with decision.

The cut eye that Dan Roach received was from a boot of one of the Marcellin players that was dragged across the pack. Nothing to do with the apparent contact from Cullinan!!

So glad he got off, especially to prove all you ____heads wrong who were so quick to judge. He was adamant he was playing the ball and only made contact with the ball and he was right. We all know how hard the V.A.F.A tribunal is to get off at.
So if they even saw intent or an attempt to play the player and not the ball he would be out!!

Snow Dogs, you are a clown mate. Who says Ï hope he gets 4 tumors???? I hope no one ever takes anything you say serious on this site again.
When I told him, he just laughed it off. He said "you get that. I have heard worse lining up for goal."

You’re obviously a very intelligent person with a lot of courage to write that over the internet with no name attached.

Good on ya DC, Good Luck this week

Loewe - 2 matches
Some other interesting reading on Results of Tribunal and Investigations held last night on VAFA website

Boys what is with ex AFL players coming down to the local level and whacking blokes. First Voss then Loewe and even going back a few years I remember Stevens whacking a bloke behind the play as the got up after a contest....would have thought they would be all "for the love of the game" given that they had played for much larger stakes.

ps SKOB travisty jumper, probably not going to be on the cat walks in Milan any time soon but at least that let people know where you stand. Half the sides have these non-descript tops which could be anything. Tip. Lots of teams use blue think outside the box.

TP, appreciate the comments however I think in subsequent posts you can see that he riles other posters as well, who like me get our backs up to defend the undefendable against some of his critical comments on particular individuals.

Most of my posts are in jest and I think you misread the imposter 'cut & paste'. This was in response to BS stating there are a number of imposters on here, so I took the time out to highlight to other posters, especially Newbies, that old BS is one of the biggest.

Whilst the Thought Policeman is on patrol, I'm surprised you found Snowdogs post ok and not worthy of a reprimand as well.

All good ;)

Cardio

Cardio I PM every poster on here that I don't agree with - it is very time consuming and detracts from my time counting votes for the recent Zimbabwe elections. Mugabe wants the "official' results by Friday, so please EVERYONE no more bagging the yellow SKOB tops, Daniel Cullinan, Miriklis or fathers of PEG players.

TP, what the....?

Are you pulling my leg, muscles?

1) I have never bagged the yellow SKOB jumpers - I leave that to the fashion police. I don't care what they wear, as long as they can play footy.

2) Bagged DC?..your joking I'm a fan of DC so thats silly - I was stunned and disbelieving that he would get reported and do what Snowdog stated, and in the end the charge was incorrect, bordering on frivolous.

3) Miriklis - now I know your losing it - again, this kid has played very good footy all year for such a young kid and I have always stated this - you need to re-read the posts as it is BS who says he can't play.

4) Yes, Gold!. I confirm this as correct as he disgraced himself and the club through comments directed at the umpire, including "your not welcome in our rooms"

So you have me bagging 1 out of 4 -

Here is a Free Tip, the amount of time you are spending counting the Zimbabwe votes, FORGET IT (the result is already known, in fact even before it started.) use that time to research posts before your get on the high horse.

Cheers

Sorry Cardio that was a directive to everyone not just you.

Seeing the rare form big Dan was in last week and his inability to move freely around the park since being shipped back from the Northern state , i personally dont think too many opposition coaches will be too fussed at him being available to play. Before all of his B/Footy bum buddies leap to his defence ,if you post under your own name and your form is deplorable you have to cop some heat.

All apart of the game mate. Tough but Fair. Like you said, he's heard worse lining up for goal. In regards with the tumour comment, just a joke...after all i thought this forum was all about having a bit of a chukle

And what's this worm pot bullshit. Bernards have lost one game there this year. Morons

And thanks for wishing us luck this week, I'll let the boys know!

With big Stewy getting 2 weeks it could have thrown OH plans to ease him into the finals into disarray .It appears now he will have to play the last 4 games to qualify .I just hope those wonky old knees can hold up playing all of that footy with no scheduled breaks, as planned .Maybe they can harvest no16's knees and transplant them as he is just taking up space at the moment .

Have to pull you up there Handles.

To play senior finals, you simply have to be registered and with a current permit to play. You don't have to have played a single game in the regular season to get a gig.

Minimum/maximum game calculations apply to reserve/club XVIII/U19 finals only

I hope that dirty thug chokes on his own tounge. His own mother doesn't even love him the fat ____. hope he gets 4. Four tumours that is. Thug.

Sincere apologies Snowy, I just can't raise a chuckle out of the post.

I'm probably on my own but the vitriolic and disgusting words wished upon an INNOCENT person playing in our great competition does not represent this thread.

If your happy and comfortable with that, then we wish you well and sincerely hope you, do not get any tumours during your lifetime.

Really? Has that been changed recently?

Really? Has that been changed recently?

Depends on your perspective. For most of us, 1996 probably wasn't too recent! :p

Rule 55 (a)

"the Second Round (i.e. finals) of the Senior Grade shall be open to all players who are eligible (i.e. not suspended) and registered with the club with which they have been granted a permit."

End of story.

Maybe Stewy will take the hint and retire gracefully? Its sad to see a great player knocked about by every head hunter trying to collect poor old stewy.
This year finals will be a bit more physical than the last two or three!!

Not sure where you get 1996 from? OH played one first gamer, one third gamer and one fourth gamer in their 1989 C grade Grand Final (premiership) Team.

That rule was really in its prime under the old reinstatement rule BUT currently applies to all VFL or TAC listed players who have an ammo club as their second club, guys like Colbert, B Neville and that ilk, who in the past may otherwise have been known as top-up players.

VFL and TAC cup listed players must play 5 VAFA games to be eligible for finals. At least 2 of these must be after June 30th.

First and for most, Bernard’s is a great team. They played much better on the day and look comfortable in playing that free flowing style of football. They would be even better if they can ever get Josh Madden back on the park. Kid can play!! Good Luck with your hamstrings mate.

I do post my name and will never hide behind what I say. You have to cop the good with the bad and I am well aware that I am and always will always cop a lot of heat. Sh*t happens.

As for the THUG and other derogatory comments, some of it was a tad over the top. But as stated earlier in the post ‘I have heard much worse lining up for goal!’ 90% of the calls you hear constantly but nearly every week someone will surprise me with a very creative one!

As for being out of form, I have played 3 and a half games for the season. I have had some set backs and am a long way away from good form and any sort of fitness, but am on the way back.

Very happy that the Tribunal got it right and found me not guilty, but more importantly just glad to be up for selection this week and can hopefully help the team get over the line against Beaumaris!

Marcellin’s ground is a treat to play on at the moment!! Go Eagles!

That was the last time the rule was amended. Don't know what the amendment was itself, as the prior rule isn't available. Suffice to say the wording of Rule 55 (a) has remain unchanged since 1996. The practical effect (that you can play a guy in the finals who hasn't played all year as long as he is registered) could well stretch back many years further. :thumbsu:

I see another coach has been fined for chastising members of our umpiring fraternity . Do you think the standard of umpiring has dropped over the last couple of years and if you do why has it? Should the book be thrown at Edwards and Lethlean to send a message to all of the coaches of the VAFA ? And finally have we got the right person guiding our umpires ?

Scribe do the unders have to play a certain amount of games in the seniors to play finals?
