Bloody Connor needs to tone it down and give Weller a chance. Connor for me just over Weller but Tukker was the best of the three in the first half.

I'm not sure who Weller is up against for the nom but I'd hope 22 touches and 1 goal followed up by 22 and 4 with 4 I50, 3 goals assists, a brilliant run down tackle and an an efficiency of 82% would stand him in good stead.

Yep fair enough, but gees 4 goals and 22 possessions is a decent game for Walters let alone a RS player. His chase downs (reckon at least one a game ) are a highlight for this year. Not often Hanley gets chased down. He is a gun, can easily hold weight in same Group as Brayshaw, Duggan and Degoey in a strong draft.

A number of teams went for KPP which is understandable

Some KPP have shown a bit too. Plus some mids prior to Weller has played some good afl games.

Having said that if the draft was redone I'm sure he'd be snapped up a little higher

Agree good pedigree as well, his brother is in leadership group after two years at saints and less skilled (IMO) but hopefully demonstrates the Weller's willingness to compete, leadership and professionalism.

He is a lot bloody quicker than I thought he was - so is Blakely. I knew Langdon was quick anyway but was surprised to see the speed of Weller/Blakely.
