Is this still worth getting? Got Black Ops but majorly dissapointed with it and sick of MW2 and COD4. Do mmany people still play online and is it hard to adjust from COD type play?

Yes

Got Black Ops but majorly dissapointed with it and sick of MW2 and COD4.

Come and enjoy a slightly different FPS, where vehicles can be driven and flown and surroundings can be destroyed.

Many people still play and it may be hard at first to adjust, especially knifing someone. But if you stick to it, you'll pick it up in no time.

Don't knife I say. Too many failed attempts for me. Once I got 200 for the patch I stopped altogether.

Yes it is hard to adjust but rewarding to play. The novelty of BOPS will wear off soon enough for me. Just in time for Vietnam!!!!!!!!

Freakin bargain at that price. I too am loving Cold War. Not really feeling Oasis Rush however. Is their an AA gun on defense in that map?

yeh i was so tempted to buy it again for 44 dollars earlier today at JB but then i remembered i'd have roughly two and a half gigs to download and the reason i traded it in, in the first place was because i was so outrageously lagged (which now i've come to realise was to do with my new house location and no aussie servers combined)

i always used to remember playing with scooter and hbk saying how lagged it felt and them saying how it felt like a really good room to them and i could never bloody understand it til recently!

awesome game, definitely encourage people who havn't played it to pick it up.
conquest is far inferior to cod's domination but rush mode is pretty fantastic when you get two good teams working together.

Just played it again and boy, I was reminded this is the number 1 game for campers.

Aside from losing a game of rush where I had to arm 75% of the stations and losing at the last one (thanks to it being very camp friendly), I also learnt squad mates will always suck. For me, they're either dead or recons that are far away from the stations.

The positives still outweigh the negatives but I'm not feeling the urge to come back.

You should squad up with us BF guys. We are nearly always the highest scoring squad.

And campers are so easy to take care of in this game. Almost a non-issue (compared to campers in CoD) if you play smart.
