Absolutely mate. Played in 4 finals victories, key role in each, and our best bowler in losing final 2020-21.

One of the greats, a sad way for it to end.

It seems like it'll be a similar end to what we saw from Finch last year - a true heart & soul player for their respective teams, but their last season's didn't make for great watching

I compare that with a player like Shaun Marsh, where at the end of last season it seemed like he could go around again but he instead opted to also retire and that's probably the best way to go out - if you're not sure if your really have another year in you, then you likely don't

As much as some will mock Tye for any further games he plays this season, hope he gets a deserved send off if it's a viable option

Are they paying him market value though?

I'm going to suggest they aren't paying him $1

He's been a Sixer since year 1, and earlier this year they signed him for a further 3 years

I'm not a Sixers fan but I think it's really cool to see him re-sign with them and only have links to a single BBL team - we should encourage loyalty, especially from our Aussie internationals
