Smith gave us a chance, could've been out on 25 oddSmith and Abbott the difference. Sums up our season that we cop a full strength Sixers side at home whilst half our list is out
Can only blame ourselves

Bowls it quickly, takes it out of anyone elses handsHow does bowling it himself mean he's avoids an overrate penalty?
Marsh in and we win comfortably though. Either they all play or none do imo. Severely unbalances the competition with games like thisSmith gave us a chance, could've been out on 25 odd

Exactly the point though. It’s such an amateur league that players would rather sit out than play whilst others play and turn the comp into a genuine club cricket comp. All over the shopMarsh was available to play, he chose to stay home and rest with family
Would’ve been good enough tonight on this deck. Great value for shit shots tonightYes the same Marsh who is in spectacular form lol

Dwarshuis hit 20 and I’m not actually sure he knew where any of his shots went. So yeah pretty confident Marsh would’ve made a difference tonightAre you remotely confident Marsh would even get a run?

Has always bullied domestic bowling attacks regardless of international form thoughGenerous the bloke looks as cooked as a waghu steak

I swear that every Scorchers gameday thread is filled with your complaints about how everything is unfair and how the Scorchers would win every match if everything went their way.Dwarshuis hit 20 and I’m not actually sure he knew where any of his shots went. Righto so, so far we’ve copped Rutherford, Sutherland, Tom f*cking Rogers season best games with the bat after looking atrocious all year, then a Smith and Abbott return game while Marsh sits out.I swear that every Scorchers gameday thread is filled with your complaints about how everything is unfair and how the Scorchers would win every match if everything went their way.
Perhaps there are some occasions where the opposition simply played better.

We haven’t been at our best but have been good enough to win all 3 games, including tonight, given it took a blokes 120 to beat us by 15 runs.
9 times out of 10 those other results go our way. I remember watching both games thinking how arsey can a batting side get.But if you were good enough you would have won the games against the Thunder and the Gades. Not so much today but there's nothing unfair about the Sixers beating the Scorchers.
Given the ridiculous nature of this match, having Marsh somehow shithouse his way to the ugliest scratchiest 50(20) in human history due to nicks, dropped catches and BBL fielding, would have been almost expected....Are you remotely confident Marsh would even get a run?
