I find low scoring white ball matches enthralling and always the most exciting.

Every run is worth something and your always on edge.

Every ball is crucial as one bad over can turn the match.

Those whining about the pitch need to grow up not every match needs a road.

One of the great things about this year BBL is the variety in pitches and matches.

180 v 170 scores in T20 games are actually more boring then a game like last night.

Batters are definitely getting worse at playing on moving/spinning wickets.

This wasn’t just a pitch with a bit in it though. The “bad ball” from the spinners where still pretty much unplayable and couldn’t just be put away.

We’ve seen a lot of wickets this BBL with some life in them. Especially early.

It really helped both teams bowling line ups are pretty awful. Others neither team would have made 80.

You could get runs on it if you knuckled down was all about playing safer and realising you aren’t getting 50 off 20 on it maybe you get 40 off 40.

Why should we produce a road when half our quicks aren’t available? We literally have 3 spinners it was going to turn. So what do the stars do…pick more quicks than you need and underbowl Maxwell again

You’d only get close to 40 off 40 of the bowling was bad and the fielding awful as well.

There’s a massive difference between a road and a day 5 turner. There’s not been that many roads this bbl. There’s been something in it for the bowlers.

They could easily have prepared a spinning wicket that would have been at least fun to watch.

You are asking us to forgo our advantage you could have easily finished above us and produced a road to suit your flat track bullies.

It wasn’t a day 5 Turner come off it not as if balls were rolling. Again I ask Maxwell howls 1 over for 3…why pick more quicks than you need? That’s on selection not us.

It was fun to watch players earning their runs is a good thing rather than blokes swinging across the line like drunk buffoons every match. How many slogs over mid wicket do you need before it’s boring and awful technique!

This is why it is a Mickey Mouse comp, you make the finals and a couple of players pi-s off.

Apart from Webster who are the Stars missing though? We are missing our opening bat so lets call it even there. I agree with it being a mickie mouse comp though it's entertainment that's it

The Stars choked again. Their big names just can't stand up when it matters. I can't see how adding Tim David to the Maxwell, Stoinis mix really helps them next season.

They will get David but will have to keep playing Rogers, Harper, Siddle etc as they won't be able to afford anyone else. You'd think they would have learned after 14 iterations.

Not sure I would call T20 entertainment and certainly would not call it cricket but I am old and brought up on red ball cricket.

Purely something to watch to fill in the time I agree with you.

I agree. Watching the Thunder struggling with the bat was what kept me watching. I like scores of around 140-150 each.

I'm not fond of wickets that give nothing to the bowers and batsmen just teeing off on good balls.

Both finals so far were won by the team batting first which makes a refreshing change.
