We should do a head coach one, obviously Malcom is no 1 but I’d be interested to see the place gettersAre you looking forward to the poll of best ever Crows assistant coaches?
This one feels closer but won’t look like it on the scoreboard

I’d have Rutten well ahead.Rutten vs Talia would be interesting
Bonus points for pulling that off despite not being an attractive woman.Talia got off a speeding fine by saying he was distracted by his sick cat vomiting in the back-seat. First class bullshittery, and it worked. Nearly enough to earn the vote here
I was at Dockland round 20 2001. Crows smashed Kangas to seal a finals berth, we kicked 25 goals, with 3 players kicking 5 each (Roo, Stevens and Perrie).Lasting memory of Stevens has to be all those injuries. Laying on the ground at Waverley trying to whack his knee cap back into place Darren Cresswell style and it not going back in not knowing he just had to straighten up his leg and it would’ve gone straight back in.
Also even though he was a relatively ‘good-ish’ kick for goal I swear he hung around with Ian Perrie too much when at the Crows because his goalkicking action did turn a little awkward looking compared to when he first came over from North Melbourne.
I was at that game too - was a demolition job. Very enjoyable.I was at Dockland round 20 2001. Crows smashed Kangas to seal a finals berth, we kicked 25 goals, with 3 players kicking 5 each (Roo, Stevens and Perrie).
Mc Leod played the perfect game. 35 possessions including a “delicious“ goal according to Bruce and without a shadow of doubt was either BOG or 2nd BOG (Roo with 5 happy to say was best). The Age the next days headline was “Footballs New King” (referring to McLeod overtaking Carey as the best in the game). Come Brownlow night a very confused Macca saw each of the guys kicking 5 getting votes and him missing out, EVERYONE at the game or reporting on the game knew McLeod was at least 2 votes on the night, inc Akka who won the award acknowledging McLeod was robbed (or words to that effect)
Some legend has uploaded on YouTube a number of older games including this one. When you 30 minutes+ over summer just watch the first quarter if not the whole game,I was at that game too - was a demolition job. Very enjoyable.

What a player he was

I'm looking forward to Hart v Max in a decades time...Wake me up when we do Jenkins vs Tippett. I can’t wait for that one!
Big callI'm looking forward to Hart v Max in a decades time...
He was being talked about in The Tiser a year or 2 before being drafted as an incredibly talented athletic player coming through. Crows so lucky to join early 90’s with the abundance of SA talent at that timeBen Hart was a gun from the moment he turned up to West Lakes until his final year. You'd think this would be closer but Hart was by far a genuine star of the competition for a long time.
Kane, if Max can be 75-80% the player Benny was it’s a massive win. Hart an all time legend of the club. Not sure it’s fair to think Max can meet such lofty expectations and as good as he was this year, Hart was so so much better (AA) in his first 2 years.
