Hmm, I remember this one being a lot better. Mark of the century?
I watched it live as a young man and it seemed awesome. Perhaps the photo doesn't do it justice.

Simply a brilliant pic. Dont know if it was a still from video or an actual photo.
Smith got very high, but in my opinion the best ever are taken in the hands above the eyes.

I was sitting directly above that mark with some Carlton supporting mates and made being there almost worthwhile, considering the flogging we got that night.
How it didn't win MOTY I will never know.
And the guy from 'Lost' just to the right? What's Jerry Seinfeld doing in the top left corner?
"You're a better player than me."
There’s probably better angle of this, but Grigg leaned in and whispered something in Melk’s ear which caused him to burst into laughter.
Yep many including Archer reported that Carey would have been a brutal street brawler. Teammates hated going up against him in the boxing ring.I think even Archer has admitted Duck had him well and truly covered in that regard.

Read his autobiography?Much like his old man.
Unfortunately I think the king learned how to fight the hard way when he was growing up.
Pretty damn chuffed. Picked up the keys to a shiny new Budwell GT today.. the whinging and tears has been like a river of joy for Swannies fans to splash about in… AFL were dearly hoping he'd go to the GWS…especially hawthorn fans....nothing better than knowing one of your guns is heading for irrelevant obscurity if you can't retain him. Makes it that much easier to hold the tears back i guess. Ahh well…didn't work out that way, did it? So whilst you keep reaching for pathetic Elvis is Alive and Grassy Knoll theories, if you don't mind, we'll take our shiny new Budwell GT out for a spin and look forward to next season.
Nice to know we still have cap space left too Might need to chase someone else this week.
These are also great photos
And there you've got your shiny new Budwell GT looking on; the heartbreak etched on his face; watching his ex-teammates celebrating; wondering whether he should've stayed a one club champion.
Maybe he is humming an old Elvis tune.
Nah, I wasn't revelling in Buddy's disappointment. If anything, I felt sorry for him. Not that he would care, what with all his money and Miss Universe. It's just an interesting juxtaposition of the emotions that footy can bring. The bond between premiership teammates who play their careers alongside one another… and then the loneliness and disappointment of the vanquished, drawn together by the lure of the almighty dollar.I can enjoy this one with you. (Buddy crying)
The look on Kurts face is worth the draft sanctions AND the fine.
