It's a sensational mark...one of the best by far. Very similar to the Micheal Roach screamer.

Keep em coming people. This is a great thread. Even though seeing the Swans celebrating their win over my Hawks isn't probably one of my fondest football memories, seeing what it meant to McVeigh and his wife puts my feelings into some perspective.

Yep many including Archer reported that Carey would have been a brutal street brawler. Teammates hated going up against him in the boxing ring.

Nah, I wasn't revelling in Buddy's disappointment. If anything, I felt sorry for him. Not that he would care, what with all his money and Miss Universe. It's just an interesting juxtaposition of the emotions that footy can bring. The bond between premiership teammates who play their careers alongside one another… and then the loneliness and disappointment of the vanquished, drawn together by the lure of the almighty dollar.
