Best/worst midfield 2019

Stalking is a bad thing to do. Perhaps have a look at the board rules?
Because I've quoted you in the grand total of two threads ?

You're paranoid.

Btw, I note you didn't respond to my post that highlighted how silly it was of you to say you lost quite a winnable match against the Dees when you had a home final on the line and everything to play for. Thrashed in fact.

Best to deflect and accuse a poster of stalking instead.

Because you you followed me from one thread to another.

Because your posting quite one if mine that stated our midfield was beaten in a number of games, including against the Demons and said what rubbish we won that game. You so then said you had to resp8nd because I said a dumb thing.

Pretty clear that wasn't rational, and emotion was clouding your reason. Also you're not a poster that offers anything useful.

Welcome to my ignore list.

If we start looking a bit deeper at talent available after the first 8 midfielders, Collingwood comes out on top with the likes of Greenwood, Sier, Wells, De Goey, Aish & Varcoe.

Hawthorn would move above Melbourne as well with the likes of Shiels, Worpel, Henderson, Howe & Morrison now able to provide additional rotations.

i think this is a pretty resonable post, although i might have melbourne slightly higher

Re 8. Richmond

Probably replace Graham for Grigg. Rioli and Higgins also played alot of the second half of the season in the midfield so the midfield will be a bit different next year.

That's two out of two situations where you've looked stupid. Maybe just stop posting and then no-one will be forced to put you in your place.

What I want you to do is really obsess because you lost an argument. Feel free to lose sleep, it might help your personal development in the long run.

For Adelaide, take out Seedsman and add either Smith or Milera.

Don’t know if that takes us up past Hawthorn, but makes it a better unit.

Lions midfield will be good in a couple years. The 3 promising first round picks McCluggage, Rayner and Berry to go with the experienced heads Martin, Neale and Zorko.

Collingwood easily the best right now.
Zorko will be 33-34 in 3 years.

The hawks midfield ranking depends of the fitness of 1 player.

If Scully is fit, they are top 3-5. If he is not fit, they may struggle.

wce would be mid tier now as theyve lost lycett and no nic nat until later in the season

should we have got kelly it wouldve put them higher

fingers crossed we get kelly and maybe a coniglio. one can dream.

Argument?

What argument? You're struggling to contribute with any form of relevance and this strange nonsensical posting appears to be your cry for attention.

So you confirm your obsession continues into the next day. Did you sleep well?
Here's a tip: Just as you are able to see alerts to responses to your posts, I am able to see responses too. Generally, posters respond to each other when they notice the alert - continuing a conversation.

In regards to whatever you are talking about now, I have no idea.

Some serious underrating of Port here.
We lack outside pace after losing polec but Ryder and Rockliff have recovered from surgery.

Ryder tapping to Wines, R.Gray and Rockliff is pretty solid.

I don't think anyone is really under rating Ports midfield, they look good as individuals but are all 1 paced, so as a unit it seems not to work as well as it should.

Gray, Wines, Rockliff, Ebert, SPP, Boak even though he doesn't play as much through there, the Polec and Wingard loses hurt.

That is a ****ing woeful midfield, might even be the worst outside of Carlton and Gold Coast

It doesn’t matter how many spuds you throw into the rotation you still aren’t going to have a better midfield than us in 2019. Hawthorn fans FMD

Havnt read thread but Ill be blunt and say who cares? Its the third most important part of the ground. Guarantee for every 1 "Who has the best forward line thread" you lot have 4 or so more that asks the same questions regarding the midfield

If the last 2 premierships have proven anything its the forward and back lines are much more important in todays day and age. Heck why not go back 10 years

I dont think Hawthorns dominant period was brought on by Mitchell/Lewis/Hodge. Id say it was brought on by Franklin/Roughead/Rioli myself. Dont believe the hype peoples. I know its easier to believe the cast of 10 is more important then the cast of 6 individuals but in todays game its simply not the case.

Im very happy with our middling and average midfield because all I want is to have the best forward line and defense in the league

Not quite right.

They have the most talented and deepest midfield, but they don't have the best contested or clearance/centre clearance winning midfield.
Brayden 'The Bear' Sier only played the last half of this season and didn't have the tank to run out a full game -yet he was close to our best and most important contested ball/centre clearance player by the end of the season. If he has a solid pre-season and raises his fitness levels, I think you'll see our contested ball stats rise in 2019.
