I've seen what it does and I have no doubt it is.

Maybe try doing some research on the matter a quick google search will do wonders

What are the effects of cocaine on performance?
Whether snorted, smoked or injected into a vein, cocaine exerts most of its effects directly in the brain and to a lesser extent on the sympathetic nervous system. "Cocaine gains access to the brain fastest when it is smoked," says Wadler. "It produces a sudden, extreme euphoria, even more intense than that experienced with intravenous cocaine, that lasts only five to 10 minutes. Eighty to 90 percent of users, however, snort cocaine, which produces a euphoria that peaks more slowly, taking five to 15 minutes." The few studies that exist suggest that little to no performance gains are incurred from cocaine and its amphetamine-like properties. Cocaine is notable for distorting the user's perception of reality; for example, an athlete may perceive increased performance and decreased fatigue in the face of actual decreased performance in both strength and endurance activities. An increase in heat production combined with a decrease in heat loss associated with cocaine abuse impairs the body's ability to regulate its temperature during physical activity.

Have you had Charlie before or do you just use Google?

I posted this sentiment on the Richmond board and i will post it here. So a young bloke does coke on a Weds and gets done for drugs can be suspended for up to 4 years. Stephenson can bet on himself in a way that can be viewed as match fixing, be found guilty of more than one offence, yet only miss 10 weeks. The AFL is just so corrupt it stinks.
‘Can be viewed’ in this instance did not constitute ‘was viewed’ so the lighter penalty applied.

FFS it is an illegal substance.

Coke should be 6-8 weeks IMO.
4 years is ridiculous.
Take your proposition through to its logical conclusion. Not observing the requirements of agreements entered into by our Government, and complying with ASADA etc means a huge drop in revenue, sponsorship and access to infrastructure. If the players wish to enjoy the benefits of playing in the AFL abide by the rules.

Just wanted to jump on here to advise everyone that I have heard this rumour is 100% true - so can indeed confirm.

mate its the same thing back at you, you hate Collingwood so your opinion will always be against Collingwood.

I dont condone betting at all, not trying to say what Jaidyn did was right because it wasn't it was wrong. He copped his fair whack though in my opinion, 10 games (12 suspended for the rest of his career) and $20,000 fine, given he is only a 2nd year player he probably wouldnt be on a high salary.

It wasnt match fixing, if he was match fixing he might of bet on st.kilda to beat us who were at great odds or something along those lines, just for reference all his bets were unsuccessful anyway! So if what you're saying is true kick to specific team mates etc, it couldn't of worked to well. I will say the same thing - I wonder if it was Dusty martin would you have the same POV?

Again I dont condone betting at all I am just defending the point of in my opinion drugs are worse, forgive me for having an opinion! I have seen what drugs can do to people, betting can have horrible ramifications as well but you get hooked on drugs and your life is gone (quite literally in some cases)

I agree both deserve suspensions and further more I agree 4 years is excessive for drugs as well. Ha ha, not Stephensons dad, again, just having an opinion.

p.s. regarding the drugs thing, dont players get strikes anyway? how come if guilty he gets a straight out ban?

My opinion on drugs and gambling is the same for anyone. If Richmond players are that stupid then they deserve the punishment to be honest. I don’t care who it is.

The strike policy is a farce and the rules around it as well. The AFL is such a corrupt and conflicted organisation is embarrassing really.

And you are welcome to an opinion, it’s an internet forum, but maybe your intro was a little hot and heavy.

And neither is a good thing (gambling or drugs). Both ruin lives. Agree on that.

Rumour could be true but the wrong club. I'm hearing its Richmond.

Yeah, in a surprising twist it’s led by Bachar Houli. Shocking. I know right.
