I don’t think this rumour is true, but also I can see how easily it gets passed around and believed after the AFL broke the public’s trust in the Essendon PEDs scandal.

Stephenson's scandal took over a month to be made public.
Sam Murray's B sample is still unknown after a year.
Shayna Jack's B sample took a couple of weeks !!!

Keefe and Thomas were kind enough to accept fault, not defend themselves etc etc. and in return Collingwood were kind enough to guarantee them a new contract. Good thing nobody had to dig deeper.

A regular at my work came in tonight with allegations saying a friend of his in the media has told him that the Collingwood betting scandal involving Stephenson may actually delve a lot deeper and involves multiple players, something that may come out soon in the media. I can’t comment on how valid this blokes claims but he’s not one to spread things that he doesn’t believe are true. Has anyone else heard anything similar? In no way am I trying to spread rumours, just want to know if anyone’s circles have heard the same. Cheers
