I find it quite short sighted that they're going so personal when Eagles are very likely to be in a prelim or grand final in a few weeks. I can't see them getting much access for exclusive coverage.
Sorry I didn't listen to it. My comment was referring to the lengths the media are currently going to for a story. Can someone report the content of the jk interview
I'd be surprised if we see him before finals.Pretty Vanilla - Bazil was sheepish. Standard remorse questions & answers. Towed the club line really.
He also said he's not playing this week. Would try for the week after that depending fi he can get through training. Definitely wants to be up and going for Brisbane game..
Contributing factors don't suit many in the media's holier that thou narrative.Wheatley just cut somebody off Sen for suggesting that Brayshaw ducked at the last minute and unfortunately got him high. Gerard said “Poor form” I don’t know what was cut off, but it appears trial by media is still strong
I hope you're right, but the last couple of times the media has gone all out on us, the team has came out flat and lost (ie 2015 GF).I think it's going to end up being a good thing for the team. It should galvanize us more than ever and we're a real chance to come out firing against Port next weekend.
The media are looking to derail us & it's going to have the adverse effect.

I get what Duffield, Bas and co are trying to do, taking of admittedly unfortunate incidents and make a trend out of them. What I don't understand how you take a couple of heat of the moment incidents (one off field by a non-player, one on-field) and make a trend out of them that talks about culture. Yes we had a culture problem around the 06 era, that was completely different.
Also, I get some on here feel like this is happening to us because it's West Coast, but the media would be doing this no matter who the club was.
Disagree. There's 2 incidents here and they're making it into a cultural issue. There were 2 incidents of Ross Lyon sexually harassing people and they didn't turn that into a cultural issue.I get what Duffield, Bas and co are trying to do, taking of admittedly unfortunate incidents and make a trend out of them. Except the bit about having his lips sewn together! I have been an operating nurse for 20 plus years and never seen anyone’s lips sewn together. Would seem a pretty dangerous thing to do.https://www.watoday.com.au/sport/af...area-is-still-a-low-blow-20180806-p4zvrj.html
Well reasoned article from Gleeson and I think one we can all agree with.
Maybe Pav's wife should spend a bit more time watching more footy before she calls us flat track bullies.
Leading up to the first Derby Ross Lyons sexual scandal gets swept under the carpet because Fremantle out of the blue decide to bring up the fact its a Rossco medal. Fremantle were pure rubbish on Sunday and Lyon escapes any fallout from it.
