Winning 2/3 of the string of away games is a very good outcome. Top spot is now a race with the sixers tho.
The rest of the league must be so sick of the Sixers and Scorchers being the only good teams

I assume they will drop a spinner for the next game at Optus for Morris or Kelly.
I think Hatz has out bowled him the last 2 games.
All in all, 2 out of 3 on the road was a decent result I thought.
The Hurricanes next Wednesday might determine up too spot.

Yeah he’s not been great and as I’ve said before, his bat has gone backwards so much that he pretty much has to be considered a bowler who can swing a decent bat. Definitely not an all-rounder at this stage. His T20 strike rate is 114 which is worse than Tye and Kelly, and frankly is just not good for some who comes in most of the time to crash and bash in the late overs.

Top 2 is fine.
First place gets a home final I think which is a massive advantage.
It's a pretty long tail when Tye is in at eight.

Re Scorchers, one of those ones we could've won, but some poor decision making and a few late pies cost us.
I actually thought Dorf bowled a few pies early up, those ones that were too full and high that were easily spanked to the short boundary.
Still. We're complaining we lost by 6 runs to the Sixers given how watered down our lineup is this season, perspective helps.
Even just Cam Green OR Mitch Marsh in the squad and we're a much better side, let alone the original imports.
May we never talk about Lyth ever again.
