If i dont get tickets ill watch the game at home and then be out in the city all night (there is a provisional plan to sleep at vic park grand final night if we win).

Hey everyone!

I dont mean for this post to become an advertisment or anything but my Band is playing a gig on Grand Final Eve if anyone is looking for a good night out before the GF.

We are an original "Heavy Rock" band I guess, and we are good...haha..and about to release our debut Album.

Playing at Revellers Bar, 50 Johnston St Fitzroy. Onstage at 8.45pm. If the Pies are in the Grand Final I will be wearing either my Collingwood Jumper or my scarf onstage. Im the Singer.

I'm flying in from Brisbane arriving on Friday, without my wife and kids and not returning to the airport until sunday evening.

and if I don't manage to get tickets, I will

1) be flying or driving down the Friday before the game, parking outside the 'G and hiding in someone's oversized thermos.
2) if by some chance that doesn't work, begging and pleading for some kind of Divine Leroy Brown intervention.
3) joining the throng at Vic Park.

COLLINGWOOD is in talks to invade Melbourne Park - if it plays in the Grand Final. Magpies president Eddie McGuire is in discussions with AAMI Park, Rod Laver Arena and Athletics Victoria to host Collingwood supporters who do not get Grand Final tickets.
They would watch live coverage of the game on giant video screens and would be able to soak up the atmosphere of the Grand Final a stone's throw from the MCG.

That's probably a positive of holding the festivities at AAMI Park, apart from a fully seated stadium, there will be state of the art medical facilities too.
