I like the idea of a massive place that won't discriminate for being drunk blokes as the first destination. We don't want people turning up to celebrate and being told by some knob bouncer that they aren't wearing the right shoes. We will meet up very early in the night so there will be every opportunity to find other bars later

going to Mt View, both to meet somewhere to do victory march?

I reckon, for those of us going to the pub, we could sneak into the ground after the game to catch some of the celebrations (if we win).

This is what ill be doing.

Like most committed Pies supporters I am incredibly nervous about the outcome of this weekends game....I'm really worried about being shitty and sooky at the end of the game if the Saints manage to beat....Man i'll be in tears.

So i'm thinking about doing something which may ease the pain a little which is put $100 bucks on the saints to win @$2.90.

Now don't get me wrong, i'm confident we are going to knock these Saints over, but in the off chance the Saints get up, $290 in the account will ease some pain, not much, but I'm willing to part with the coin to help me emotionally.

Anyone else looking at something similar?
..

No.

I'm on a plane in about 5 hours and probably won't log on again.

Hopefully I run into some of you somewhere.

Doesn't narrow it down much, but I'm about 6'4 will be wearing a 2004 model jumper with #15 on, and no I'm not Leigh Brown!

Oh and a members cap!

You'll break my heart. Drink is a terrible curse. Don't get me started on my drink-sodden extended family.
Don't worry too much Snag. I'll be sure to stop myself before I turn into a fool. Chances are people wont even be able to tell I've been drinking, more likely they'll think I'm happy over the pies win :)

Hope for your sake you didn't follow through with this. :p

Why? He would have won $45

On a $100 investment? Nice work. :thumbsu:

Seriously though, I'm pretty sure if a draw is an option on a betting market, then you don't get any payout on the result.

You get half your payout back - was reading in the paper today. So basically if you went with the Pies you've lost some money, if you went Saints, your in front. Obviously if you went the draw you are really in front :p
