Sloane is a genuine inside/outside superstar and top 5 mid of the comp, I think he would only be the second mid at Geelong, Sydney, GWS and Richmond. He has played nearly 100 less games then Gibbs as well. I bet you went on footywire had a look at their stats and think that determines their value. There is nothing to add because the trade would never happen, Sloane would command pick 3 and a player by himself without anything going back the otherway, less maybe a third round let alone pick 10.
Anyway I only really came over here to congratulate you guys on getting Teague back. He was great for us and I know he will do wonders for your forward line!
Sloane has the potential to be a top 5 mid in the comp...if he can find a way to overcome the tag. Started like a house on fire this year but was found out when teams put more work into him. Has the ability to go forward and jag a goal here and there which helps, but he's not a game-breaker like some others.
Dusty and Danger clear top 2, but beyond that there's 20+ that you could make a case for on any given day.

Next bracket would be the Heppell, Jones, Cunnington, Wines, Steven, Deledio, Murphy, Shuey, Macrae, Dahlaus types.
Sloane's a quality player and I personally love the way he goes about it, but there's a lot of high quality players in that tier that are either consistently good (without being great) or aren't quite consistent enough to set themselves above the pack.
