Carlisle and Treloar in one trade period would be HUGE.
Walk one of them to the PSD (probably Carlisle) and use the pick we get from Geelong to trade to GWS for Treloar.

There's a 25% chance we get pick 10 for Henderson, there is a 0.001% chance we get Treloar for pick 10.

Hendersons manager suggested that he's is worth between 6-16 in this draft....Given Geelong will likely have #11....it's smack on the mark.

We won't get Treloar for #10 alone. Forget it. No-one owes SOS that much. :)

Would need to cough up more than #10/11 for AT HBF - they may budge if we give them the Tigs pick from a Yaz trade should such eventuate.

Still reckon 10 + 14 would be unders for us… AT is a gun and will be for years.

What if he nominates Carlton? Puts us in a strong position then though.

Sam McClure just said on 3AW the following...

Pies have tabled an offer for MK for 4 years at $500,000-$600,000 which will then trigger the compo pick which the AFL are concerned about... (Bad luck I say!)

Treloar will tell GWS tomorrow that he honing home to Victoria but not nominating a club - Pies, Tigers and Blues the likely clubs.

SOS has convinced both Lachie Plowman & Andrew Phillips to come to Princes Park

If any of the above is true I'll be happy a part from missing big Humphrey of course.

If they are throwing that sort of money at Matty... I am just wondering how they are supposed to get Treloar as well. I would guesstimate that he is going to be around 650-700k/year which would mean at maximum, they are looking at 1.15m/year to a max of 1.3m a year. I don't care how young their squad is, they are not going to be able to shell out that sort of money unless they front load one contract and back load the other.

I seriously doubt any club is going to offer up 600-700k/year for Kreuzer. 500-550k yeah... maybe 600k as the very top figure. And maybe 4 years as the total of the contract including possible incentives and triggers for games played over 3 years.

So far, everything is speculation really... and some of these people claiming to have inside information... are just reading loads of shit stories and trolling forums looking for info and making stuff up.

Can anyone tell me Sam McClure's strike rate regarding rumours? Is he usually right?

Wow losing Kreuz wil hurt, but losing him to Collingwood...seeing him in Collingwood colours next year would be so weird.

I would be willing to give GWS 2 first rounders or maybe Henderson and a 1st rounder for Treloar.

Don't think we ll let him go if we don't get Pick 2 (which if the AFL are 'concerned' we wont).

Still can't get my head around the Pies chasing MK. The have 3 decent ruckmen. They need more guys that can carry the ball and can kick.

Phillips and Plowman would be an awesome get. Would really expediate this rebuild!

seems a bit strange he would have done a fitness test already, he only played on Saturday

they'd wait a few days / weeks I would have thought

most players wouldn't pass a fitness test 1 or 2 days after a game, would they?
It'd be bs.
Kreuzer's manager would put off any test until a time that he would be as cherry ripe as possible, having a test a few days after a game would be incredibly stupid.

I'm not sure you can say Aish is better than Bell. The former has had a poor year whereas the latter would be in our top five this year and a glance at his stats shows he regularly racks up 100 odd SC points. Bells usage is still untidy but his ability to cover the ground and break tackles is very noteworthy. I for one don't want to see him leave. Some of the stuff he does you can't measure in numbers IMO.
SC doesn't count for a great deal.
Bell has definitely been the more consistent of the two but you'd want him to be, as he has 4 years on Aish as well as being more physically developed.
At this point I'm not sure whether anyone actively wants him to leave, it's more a matter of whether he wants to head home.
