Well once upon a time I would have agreed with you.

But, as we have all come to accept, our old way of doing things doesn't work in the era of professionalism, stable management, and salary caps.

All things that tie into us being a business now.

I'm sure I have heard many on here say the old Jack Elliot way didn't work.

The main thing a business needs to operate are it's shareholders, and customers. (the members / fans).

It drives everything we do.

Anyway long story short, if you are happy to pay your money/support without even the slightest modicum of professional standards (onfield) or for anything in return, that is entirely valid, and completely up to you.

Other people want to see results, and that's also fair.

It's not for you to say they are wrong, it's not for me to say you are wrong

Think you are confusing an AFL club membership with buying $540 of shares in Woolworths.

Locked in his own dungeon til the morrow…
Went down for the yearly spring cleanup…
Strong gush of freakish wind slams impenetrable door shut..
Keys are unfortunately unattainable from the inside…
Soundproof, no window and without mobile reception…
He must wait for his long term cleaning lady to assist his release from around 9am tomorrow morning…
Time to reflect, he’ll be fine…

Thy’s rescue & release…

Cleaning lady Alice rocks up at 8.50 very punctual as usual, who happens to strike an uncanny resemblance to a popular 60’s /70’s tv sitcom character, she has a key & let’s herself in…

Soon after Alice discovers Thy locked in the dungeon and the events of how it happened, after spending the whole night/morning without food and water and in total darkness and freezing cold temperatures he desperately needs nourishment…

It’s Wednesday which is bath day, one of only three for the week Alice runs a warm bath for him and adds some bubble bath and to cheer his spirits up putting his blue ducky for him, after 30 minutes Thy is feeling very relaxed and incredibly pruned, time to get out…

A fresh thurmal onesie, flannelette pajamas, dressing gown and slippers he can now head to the kitchen where Alice has prepared him his favorite breakfast Kellogg’s All Bran with an assortment of fresh fruits with low skim milk and a green tea, he is now supremely happy and fully nourished…

If things couldn’t get any better Alice has informed him that she has picked him up his favorite dish freshly handmade pork & chive dumplings pot stickers from her boyfriend Sam which just happens to be another uncanny coincidence as well…

Currently watching last week’s replay recovering well by all reports…

So after we win the flag Gold Coast trades us Ben Ainsworth and Pick 5 for a future 4th yeah?

Debbie downer after a great night... I got mail that Adam Cerra is done for the year. Came from a Carlton official (that much is fact). The only rider might be the official (a high up one) was being honest or taking the piss.

Anyone know if there’s a sports bar that plays footy in Munich and Vienna? I have to head over there next weekend for a few weeks for work and I don’t think Kayo works?

The mere existence of this place confused the hell out of me when I was in Vienna

I mean, why would you drink Fosters, especially there?

Credit to him. He has hands down earnt this.

Boy has tricks, but clearly some weaknesses. Brass told him to work on them and served a gigantic VFL apprenticeship.

Knocked the door down for months and now has another chance.

Well done Paddy.

I thought there were at least half a dozen players that were easy delist / trade for peanuts at the end of the year.

Dow, Fogarty, Cuners, Marchbank, Martin. Even McGovern, Fisher.

All have made a case for best 22 (or decent depth) this year.

I know every player looks better when you're winning... but still..... List management a lot harder than I thought it was mid-season.

I remember landing in Vienna two nights before Christmas, there was a street market with plenty of gluwine (?), but the first thing I saw was this dude selling Digeridoo's !!!
