It’s not over. Trac and his family especially still want out.

This is the only thing I can think of that makes any kind of sense of the Kennedy news.

Back when Voss started he supposedly told Kennedy that the side had room for 2 inside mids, and one of them was Cripps. Kennedy made the second spot his own, until injuries elsewhere sent him all over the park this year.

IMO he's still the 2nd best inside mid in the team. Walsh is more outside, Hewett would be equal at best but probably not quite, Cerra is more outside, Lord nowhere near proven.

But if someone like Petracca is in play, then yeah, Kennedy would have to make room.

I can confirm that the senior coach the club is considering for the assistant coaching role recently parted ways with his previous club. Although he has never had a coaching role at Carlton, he supported the club as a child.

No cryptic clues like, Adam Simpson?

Most of the names will be known, but the targets of the club include the following: Dan Houston, Nick Haynes, the Campo twins, Jayden Laverde is also someone the club will keep an eye out pending what happens with Lewis Young. I currently can't reveal what we are doing with pick 11 as I have had no discussions about it, but I can reveal that the club still believes Christian Petracca will still be up for grabs come the trade period and the club will look at ways that they can facilitate a trade and get him to the club.
...Hmmm

Petracca: contracted until the end of 2029
Rachele: contracted until the end of 2029
Houston: contracted until the end of 2028

We are offering up Kennedy/Owies/Young.

Just wonder what sort of Rabbit we are going to pull out of our proverbial to get any of these over the line?

Riddle me this:
Forward I am heavy, backward I am not, what am I?
McGovern when we recruited him as a forward.

McGovern after we moved him to defence...

Yes

Those assistant coaches that would pronounce “tomato” as “tomato” will now pronounce it as “tomato”, while those that would pronounce “tomato” as “tomato” will now pronounce it “tomato”
You know what has always annoyed me?

No one ******* says po-tah-to!!!

Good forward in a good side, got the forward nous, body lets him down…

Comes to Carlton, worst place to play early days as a forward, club stripped and rebuilding poor and slow game plan, but body still lets him down.

Has looked good playing in defence, played more games at the club when in defense, has looked good gives us a point of difference when fit, problem is his defensive ability at times can let him undone, should be better defensively as a third up tall defensively…

If we had a better system in kicking out he along with Boyd should be the kick outs who can hit a target, particularly if we can start to set up a design of different tactical methods of spreading our exiting kick ins as well as our backline rebounds…

Weitering can nail them as well, but we have such a poorly designed and lack of originality and methods in ourselves by creating better ball movement altogether, across all lines…

Apologies Ferris, he’s definitely a good forward in a good team, Club has extended his career playing in defence, still could be a better player, seems like he is being injury managed although he still is a bit of let down body wise, can’t go 100%

Whoa, someone just took me seriously.

I'm pretty sure that's the seventh sign of the apocalypse...
