Real talk now. You don’t pronounce the suburb “Lalor” Law-la, so why is the football player Sam Lalor’s surname pronounced Law-la?

I'd only consider that deal on draft night
I'd happily take Lalor, but if he is gone, O'Sullivan isn't that much better than kids around 12 & 14, IMHO
It isn’t unders from a points perspective but the extra pick that WCE would need to through in would be a third rounder.West Coast will definitely look to trade now as they have committed to Baker, l would suggest they would do that deal, not sure we would unless Austin absolutely wants one of the high end players in the draft.
Not sure 12 & 14 for 3 is unders in this draft with the evenness of the first 15.
Very strange for wc to trading pick 3 without another pick inside top 10
That’s is harsh swuzzleLooks like his three in 15 years has contributed more
Even draft. They need picks for Liam Baker.Very strange for wc to trading pick 3 without another pick inside top 10
I can’t believe I am about to pull out one of these lol
You can actually hear both pronunciations. Today was the first time I’ve heard Law-la when saying Lalor. You learn something new every day.
Particularly when you have a midfield that lacks depth, balance and class….Pick 3? On a point value, it matches. But sometimes you just have to take the two kid inside the top 14.
I hope we don’t live to regret this if our number 1 target is gone by Pick 3.
Tell me you are on the Carlton bigfooty board, without telling me you are on the Carlton bigfooty board9.05K posts since September 12th

If we are to trade for pick 3, I really really hope we use it on Sid Draper!! His explosiveness, pace, clearance work as well as his leadership would really transform our midfield
Reckon he will be an unbelievable player and only way I believe we could get him is if we secure pick 3 because the Crows would snap him up with pick 4
If we kept the two picks i doubt we would pick two midfieldersParticularly when you have a midfield that lacks depth, balance and class….
There was a Carlton fan account on Twitter/X that I’ve had a lot of rumours shared that have been spot on. They said that WC came to us for pick 3 not the other way around. We may have turned them down and they came back with a higher offer. This including the mid range pick and the two picks in the 60s.The main thing that surprises me with the rumoured deal is how we are getting two picks in the 60s plus a mid-range draft pick along with 3 for 12+14. If it is real it might be too good of a deal for Austin to pass up...

Side note: we can’t go to the draft with more picks that list spots. But we can trade picks back for multiples while the draft is running.
Not with knowledge, just wishesEagles board seem to think Moir might be involved in the deal. Imagine how stupid that would be
Would only make sense if Moir requested a trade, which seems unlikely since we haven’t heard anything about that.Eagles board seem to think Moir might be involved in the deal. Imagine how stupid that would be

No point having a cracked forward line if the mids can’t get it to them, and with quality delivery.Having Charlie and Harry, coupled with Lalor and Walker over the next few years as medium forwards who can go through the midfield would put our forward line at the top imo. Hopefully we either have the smalls currently or in the near future that can step up in what could seriously be a dominant forward line
