Think there is little doubt with the Demon sh*tshow circus, which has, unbelievably, gotten worse (!), that both Trac and Clayton would def want to be elsewhere now.

Would keep an eye on it if it’s true that Trac was/is keen on new home at blues. *noting I prefer the idea that Austin sticks to his guns and if to be opportunistic and get a gun like Trac (or Houston) in, to ONLY do on Blues (disciplined) terms re contract and picks

Just to be clear Glicksy, does Petracca want Oliver to go or stay?

Is Petracca dictating to the club who he wants to stay and who must go.
He has told the club he is unhappy with the culture. Never insinuated anything about Oliver that was the club thinking he is apart of the cultural issue. This infuriated Trac as his on the same coin as him but willing to hold him to his contract and shop Oliver around and no seemingly go back on it. If they announce it at the BnF behind his back how do you think that will make Petracca feel? That’s the definition of shocking culture and will only validate tracs grievances at the club even more

Pardon me if it's already been mentioned but Damien Barrett has suggested on AFL.com.au that Brisbane are going to throw the kitchen sink at Harry!
No way I want that happening but the trade would be HUGE!
(Same age as Houston too, just saying!) LOL
Will Ashcroft, Harris Andrews, Rayner and the premiership cup and 2 first round picks

Won’t that hurt?

Will he be ok for round one?

nope, they aren’t going to have anyone we would want, who is willing to leave the club after just winning a flag & they have no picks.

They can take Casboult or Darling and hopefully don’t distract the other clubs with bullshit

IF ...

Harry McKay has no intention of playing for anyone other than Carlton ...

THEN ...

the question will almost inevitably come from Brisbane anyway, and might have arrived already: would you want to replace Joe? The Lions will be ruthless in dealing with their options in the next two weeks. And yes, I know Harry is contracted until the end of 2030.

Yes contemplating a Harry trade would be huge and certainly stir the nest a bit, invigorate our possibilities , Austin would be center stage.
What would one expect to receive ? say , Track & SDK? a great haul given the surrounding circumstances. Let the hunting of the icon begin.

Don't shoot the messenger.

Just a quick update on our pursuit of Mason Cox. The bombers have made a big push for Cox and are offering him 12m over the next 4 seasons. We're only offering 8 million, but my source is telling me that Cox is adamant that he will only play for Carlton, as he grew up as a Blues supporter.

In other news, my contact on the board is telling me that the reports that we're sounding out Dew for a coaching position are slightly misleading, he informs me that we're actually looking to bring him on as the club dietitian.

Lastly, I have one more rumour that I can't say much about, so I will leave a hint.

Club is now fully invested in the draft. Houston is a slight possibility-the club believe that port may lower their stance to an F1 and a 2nd rounder which in the case it is possible, especially if they get Lukosius.

Club not relying on it. The club is even now trying to source a top 5 pick by trading 11 an F1 and owies. Austin really rates Murphy Reid-he is a high IQ, goal kicking and high impact per possession inside mid-something none of our midfielders have unfortunately.

The club is also looking into two ‘Salary dump’ players. One I totally understand and fits a need the other to me makes no sense….

Either way-interesting off season and Austin is keeping busy. We will not be only getting Haynes and going to the draft with only pick 11-that is a guarantee.

It’s shaping up to be an intriguing offseason, one where Austin is playing the long game. One thing is certain: this won’t end with just Haynes and pick 11. Rumors swirl that the club is looking into two “salary dump” players. One seems a perfect fit, a need that has long been on the radar. The other? It raises eyebrows and leaves many puzzled.

Behind the scenes, the club is also making moves for a top 5 pick, potentially involving pick 11, an F1, and Owies in the trade. Austin has his sights set on Murphy Reid—an inside mid with speed, sharp decision-making, and an impact that none of our current midfielders can match.

As for Houston, the situation remains fluid. If Port lowers their demand to an F1 and a second-rounder, the door might open, especially with the Lukosius piece in play. But the club isn't resting on this possibility—they're fully committed to the draft.

What's this... four Krusty's?

We often let our hearts guide us, believing in the things we deeply want to be true. It’s comforting to hold on to those hopes, but the hard reality is that most of what you are reading is complete BS.

Some of it will be true though by way of chance, but which bits?
