I have horrible news for people about the first few days of trade period.
Nothing much ever gets done. Well not formally anyway.

Exactly. A day of speed dating. Go home with your list of possibles. Throw official offer emails out overnight. Come back the next day, thrash them out, you have a 3pm deadline.Trade week should be about 36 hours long in total. Anything longer is pointless.
Agree initial few days are all about postering and setting the tone with plenty of nonsense too.I have horrible news for people about the first few days of trade period.

I like them both. I've watched a bit of them at Glenelg. They are a little different to each other - Ben being more of a hybrid mid with an inside game and right foot dominate, and Lucas is more of outside running left footer. I think Ben is a bit stronger and probably has more tricks than Lucas, but I think Lucas will be a great specialty winger and can produce some great kicks at times, yet this is a little inconsistent.Which one is the good one? Or better one?
If either go past Scott by the end of their careers we will have been blessed….In the U/16's lucas. in the U/18's Ben.

Both will make me happy, an inside and outside mid with Campos genes excites me.If either go past Scott by the end of their careers we will have been blessed….

Listening to Austin, doesn’t sound like Houston is a real priority and the draft is the focus which I like tooTargeting speed, run and key position depth down back in the draft - I like it
Which is really what we're all wanting I feel. Only thing with the Houston deal is preventing the Pies getting him and flying back into premiership contention.Listening to Austin, doesn’t sound like Houston is a real priority and the draft is the focus which I like too

What did the Lions add last year to get over the hump this season?Meanwhile the remainder of the competition improves their list aggressively.
Cats, Hawks, Crows ,Power, just a few that will be much stiffer competition in 2025.
We’re in a jam, 4/5 monster contracts for our champions and a few not so good are strangling our mobility. Let’s hope we snare the Camporeale boys cheaply they’ll be good footballers and either a quality tall for defense or skilled small forward. We need a speedy midfielder too, but can’t address all problems in one trade period.
They weren't as far off the pace as we are. They were 4 points off a flag and added Will Ashcroft. What did the Lions add last year to get over the hump this season?
