Sid Draper would be the closest, but I'd mark his disposal as good, not excellent. Also not a sure thing to make it to pick 3 if we get it, and definitely won't be there at 12.

No one really knows what will happen now but we are open to anything to improve our options and list NOW. Busiest trade period in years. Lots of swaps, trades will happen in next few days
Austin is speaking with everyone and happy to discuss anything. Wants minimum 2 picks in draft Top 20
We believe there will also be very good players available after trade period. A number of good players will be squeezed off lists

I think Ashcroft is a very good example of this. If Austin and co think there is someone at that level (or Sheezel), then go for it IMO.

Having Charlie and Harry, coupled with Lalor and Walker over the next few years as medium forwards who can go through the midfield would put our forward line at the top imo. Hopefully we either have the smalls currently or in the near future that can step up in what could seriously be a dominant forward line

Speed doesn’t necessarily mean we need to draft a player at 3 though. Look at every other list who we deem as fast. How many top 3 draftee players are extremely fast? It’s more team balance.

If moving all our picks up for pick 3, I’d say we are focused on a player who can win a game off their own boot. A generational talent maybe? Staying with picks 12 and 14 if we really want an influx of speed would be the right move imo. But if we are chasing 3, it’s because we think we can get an absolute gun
