I’ll be p1$$3d if we lose 12 & 14 just for 3. I hope Austin feels the same way.
I get that but surely they can get better than 12 and 14. Owies and Carroll are glorified steak knives.WC need a mid range pick for Richmond deal. With 2 picks they can still stay in the 1st round and get a player that wants to go to them and can play!
Depends the type of hip injury. Moir had similar troubles, but it was misdiagnosed as a juniorYep that’s concerning particularly the hip complaint. Players who have hip issues tend to alter the way they run to compensate. Tends to lead to other injuries.

He played him 15 times this year?Vossy will play Carroll once or twice next year, so better to cash on when his value is sky high.
The average length of an AFL career is 6 years. Considering almost all start at 18, MOST players aren't still on AFL lists by 27.....In fact most players don’t hit their peak until 27!
There goes half the Pies team themAccording to The Age, the Tasmanian club is expected to be handed four to five first-round priority picks for the 2027, 2028 and 2029 drafts, with two of those selections from each draft required to be traded to gain experienced talent.
If the club is unable to trade one of those selections to attain players, that selection will be carried into the following year's draft.

WC making out like bandits - we are getting screwed. Need another pick for Carroll and/or Kennedy. Both bloody good players!!!Carlton - Pick 3, Pick 26, Pick 63
WC - Jack Carroll, Liam Baker, Picks 12&24
Richmond - Matt Kennedy, Pick 14
Few as sub and record injuries. With a fit list does he get much of a go especially when we are looking at more run?He played him 15 times this year?
Here’s 3 from our own team: George Hewett, Nic Newman, Blake Acres.
Fitness is our key
Next year all being well we get a fit Docherty, Silvagni, Saad, Boyd, TDK, Cerra, Walsh, Williams. Motlop, Durdin, Fogarty. Another pre season into Cincotta Cowan Wilson Ollie Lord Moir Binns O'Keefe
So many areas we should be so much better.
Names like Campo twins and other early picks don't need to step up next year BUT if they do it's even better
Houston is ONE player. We have many many possible "recruits" that make us better in 2025
I also think pairing him with the Campos would be really great for all of them.I’m team Draper - looked very comfortable playing for Souths against men. Absolute jet out of the stoppage. Big point of difference to our current set-up.
Yes I like him also ItchyAm I the only one who thinks Carroll is worth holding on too?
Smooth mover, will get better…would be a mistake to let him go for peanuts imo.
We need to stop over rating our players to think they are better than they are. That deal would be great for usWC making out like bandits - we are getting screwed. Need another pick for Carroll and Kennedy. Both bloody good players!!!
I reckon Ed would have been even better if not for the major knee injury he had.Ed Curnow, Heath Scotland
It seems like a pretty good deal for me. We have actively told Matt Kennedy that he won't get much on ball time and he'd get even less with pick 3, Ben Campo and Cooper Lord trying to get in there. Unfortunately Carroll doesn't hold much value.WC making out like bandits - we are getting screwed. Need another pick for Carroll and Kennedy. Both bloody good players!!!
Suns getting torched again
Voss doesn't trust him. Always had him on the bench. Better for the player to have a go elsewhere.Am I the only one who thinks Carroll is worth holding on too?
