I’d love Caleb Daniel. Were crying out for good ball users

Essendon are a rabble currently and we glee in that fact, but StKilda are an eternal one.

Entire culture is built on woe is me, David vs Goliath, sticking it up the big VIC clubs and the AFL. They're just a pathetic organization.

The Stains of the competition, 1 flag in how many decades again?

Currently in the 13th decade of their putrid existence

Do we actually need Daniels? Where would he play?
Not sure he breaks in to our midfield, he ain't a fwd and he's too small to play down back.
He plays out of the backline and hits targets. He is a best and fairest winner as well. All Australian.

Remember everyone, pace yourself today, the AFL stage manage today so nothing happens before mid afternoon with the biggest trades coincidentally peaked for the primetime deadline.

So this morning is for rumours, regrouping and shit talking and try not to get banned from other boards eh?

Pfft, this thread will be another 20 pages long by lunchtime

This is certainly a need for us... Especially if we want to take our transition game to new levels (which has sucked this year).

Not entirely true, defensive transition yes but offensive transition was very good. We were excellent on scores from turnover, in the top 3

We got opened up way too much from stoppage (which was weird based on the previous 2 years) and trying to get back to defend. That’s entirely fixable

Can't see where Daniels fits. Horrendous defensively, complete liability.

Rather get games into Wilson
People only judge that because of his height. If he got back to his 2020 form then he would be a good pickup.

Daniel was ranked as the games best ranked general defender according to AFL Player ratings on 2020

our game plan is fine. Some people very underrate our game plan. If we simply won all the games that were under a goal this season then we would have been top 4. We were never out of any game this season when we had our near-best team. We were top 4 for a lot of the year and had injuries all season. Even though we had injuries and constant lineup changes we kept getting wins for most of the season. You can only do that if you have a very good game plan in place. Since Voss has been with us we have found ways to win many games after we had injuries. We even won games when our defence was depleted. You only win games like that because it is system over personnel. Ross Lyon used to make deep finals runs because of that. What we need to do though is take our chances in front of the goals. Kicking goals changes people's thoughts about game plans. You can only plan to set up the shots. You can't plan to kick the goal..........that is up to the player.

Um, how did the players look come playing Brissy and being down 8/9 goals by half time. And of those last 6-7 games of the season we beat a couple of lowly ranked sides in Kangas/Eagles. And of the close games you talk about both those teams did make finals so are weak teams.

Our game plan bashed ourselves senseless.

In your favour, Voss is on the same wavelength.

If we do get Caleb Daniel then we ultimately get our pick 46 back from the Liam Jones trade.

Tom Morris saying Kemp more likely to get to Saints than stay at Carlton. Also says Saints will need to "pony up" for him.

All the investment in Kemp and then trade for first and/or second round picks on a speculative player?

What are we? A feeder club?

No thanks.

We're hunting for a cup and imo Kemp is part of that hunt.
