I didn't make an assumption. I based it exactly off what you said. I also wasn't the one bemoaning the club and assuming they were doing it wrong. I was saying it's just as likely they're following proper process. As it's commonly done this way with no leaks in good companies.

That's called ruthless - which is something we haven't been for a long time. Not arrogant ruthlessness like the old days just proper ruthlessness like your more successful clubs over the past 20 odd years.

Hey, I don't create history.
Google 'AFL pick 6' and the first option that comes up is AFL pick 6 curse.

The least average games of the whole top 20. We currently have two on the list, plus Yarran from the past and one in the hand for this year's draft. Samo has bucked the trend by getting to 93 games, but looks on the outer. Marchy can't get on the park, playing 48 games in 7 years.
I just don't see the point in drafting a kid with a 'cursed' pick and hoping they turn out to be a Cerra type for the next 10 years (while completely bucking the trend of previous pick 6s), when we could literally have Cerra for the next 10 years.

We won't know if this has been handled well until we get to the end of it. I don't like what they're doing but am making no assumptions that they are doing it wrong. You are making your own assumptions of both the actions of the club and my experience.

Other clubs do not have the draft or salary cap capital to satisfy Cerra or Freo, maybe other clubs also don’t have disgruntled WA’s players that could be included in negotiations as well.
