If 2/3 of Martin, Williams and Mcgovern play consistent football through a season we would have some big dollar improvement onfield. I think McGovern has the potential to make the most impact.
It seemed like season past 2/3 of this group were unavailable or unfit/lame.
Martins helicopters or kicking into the man on the mark are not indicative of a skilled and switched on veteran

The longer they take to select a coach, there might be a chance Clarko is tempted to throw his hat back in the ring.
Especially if he thinks the club is getting back on track with all the changes.

Only problem is the media is doing everything in their power to make the club look bad.
If the Club and board have changed. They will tell him to GAGF! he had his chance and did not take it. We will not risk taking on people that are half in.

Nope. They'll welcome Clarko with open arms and thank their lucky stars he backflipped yet again. No one says no to Clarko. Except Jeffrey the sausage.

There's a lot I like about Buckley...especially V2 Buckley as a bloke. The only thing that worries me is the game style he seems to prefer...the chip, chip short kicks around the boundary. I really hate it. If it was somethin he could reinvent, maybe...but otherwise...yeah, nah.

Lyon on the other hand obviously has a good defensive mindset, but he's also shown he's able to embrace a more attacking style as well. That does appeal to me.

He also seems to be very well liked and respected by those that have played under him. Glowing reports from many.

And players that feel compelled to leave with Teague's sacking? Pffft...don't let the door hit you in the arse on the way out. Incredibly soft if that is the case with any of them.
I think the group that tried to defend Teague in the dying moments might be a bit worried about what's to come...no pushover coach anymore...
Accountability me thinks...might have to actually work for their pay packets a bit friggin harder now huh.....

Most of those alleged players are probably the ones who have the least to worry about.

Are Liddle and Lloyd on regular FTE contracts (e.g no set end date)? Wonder if this is a contributing factor. E.g both have been given the review findings and encouraged to seek gainful employment elsewhere because terminating their contract wouldn't be simple for the club, and wouldn't be a good look for the remainder of their careers.

Over a certain pay grade, from memory it is $150k and above you really don’t need a specific reason to terminate an employee. No matter what though there are still risks of being taken for unfair dismissal but it is a matter of how high the risk and what the likelihood is. I would imagine both are on salary packages that would exceed that figure so I doubt this would factor in.

You have a short career window and speaking up significantly jeopardises your very livelihood. Esp when the rest of your environment can deny it and hang you out to dry. Would Eddy have backed him up had he spoken out?
Hard to criticise from where we sit.
Are you saying he took the money and career over what he believes.

I know multiple, knowledgeable north Melbourne supporters (i know, hard to believe) and all dont rate scott. Tactically inept and quick to blame the players.

I have challenged them with facts and his record, and they all insist stats dont tell the story.

Naturally i am inclined to believe them, in the same way Teagues numbers dont tell the fully story. So i am hoping its a no for scott.

Lyon, whilst an incredible coach, can play a pretty dull style of football.

Buckley i find hard to grasp as a carlton person
So who then?
