Teague was our 2nd best coach, win/loss this century despite the rotten, lazy culture he had to put up with. 6 coaches have changed nothing and Teague was actually one of the best of them. Not the coaches, as we are finding, and if those issues aren't addressed we are talking another sacking in 2 years.

“Teague second best Carlton coach this century” - don’t you love this phrase. This truly is setting the bar low. Like saying the Taliban is the second best Afghanistan government this century.

Funnily enough, if Clarko is saying he wants to return to coaching in 2023 it almost makes me feel like we are still a chance. It means he definitely still wants to coach and if, as reported earlier, he rates the Carlton list then he may eventually not want to pass up the opportunity.

Under no circumstances should we appoint Voss, he is actually the worst of all supposed remaining candidates.

Aside from The fact I think he is a bad coach, he also doesn't come across as a real pleasant bloke, lin my opinion, least not one that should be trusted coaching pur young lads (still remember that incident back in his playing days when he went out with Steven Lawrence and Fraser Gerhig on a pub crawl and threw a billiard ball at someone)

We can and must do better than Voss surely ?

Have met him a few times. Only briefly mind you. He actually seems lovely *shrug*

The Club really needs to give-up on Clarko now. It was already starting to lose some of its appeal - the feeling of desperation to get him. It's not a good look for the Club and I don't think it sends a good message to the players. My feeling is we put all our eggs in that basket and it didn't pay off. We need to act like we're still in control...

The club has moved on already, it’s not the club going around and around in a spin here

To be fair I don’t want us trying to beg someone who is ambivalent about doing the job.

Club need to get their heads out of their asses and go with the process they have outlined.

Stop thinking this is the 1980s and people will come to us just because Carlton, we are irrelevant now and are just a club who needs to do the hard yards to get better.

No messiahs, no magic rebuilds, just get the best and hardest working people you can and setup the best culture you can.
