I think we have to remember though that this is Knights first year and we're not even half way through it. He's inherited a list and diligently trying to work out who can and can't play.
Essendons list is also very, very young. This meaning that players will get hurt more often and don't have the mature bodies of a Geelong. It was never a secret Essendon would struggle this year.
I see what's happening at the moment as a positive! Essendon were not going for a flag so blooding kids with the opportunity that injuries represent can only be good. The bad part would be the confidence they might lose if Essendon get a belting.
