Yeah I disagree. I think North come out fine. GWS just reamed themselves that made it potentially a win for all 3 of us.
It negotiated down because we have moved down from Pick 1 to Pick 3. There has to be some value attributed to moving down the draft order 2 picks, especially at the pointy end.
Regardless of if we didn’t want Cadman, we had something of value that we gave away for free.

I agree somewhat, but I'd say 2+3 gives us a pretty unique position if we didn't want who GWS wanted at 1 anyway. Then it's less a case of a bad deal and more us just not being bloodthirsty.

Clarko likely saw some major red flags and believes it was worth it to be rid of him immediately.
We still should have got something for it. We pretty much sweetened the deal so Port could get what they wanted.
As Chadwicko said that deal should be a reason to sack the bloke.
A bloody amateur could make a better deal than that.

Don't think this is as bad as most are making out. We never had pick 1, that belongs to Brisbane. If the club rated Cadman at #2 this deal wouldn't have been done
