Alright Brady get hunter Clark done and that’s a solid pass mark

Hold JHF or trade for overs (top 5 pick plus future first/ a player like Sinn) and you get a HD

There’s way too much smoke to ignore this shit. When Tom Browne ran with it I laughed. Now McGowan and Twomey are reporting this mega deal Friday and again today.

Hand on heart if this motherf*er trades two pick 1s for 2 and 3 and a future 1st, then we scratch his name from the locker and sack him on the spot. Harsh you say? F*** harsh, this is a ruthless industry and he has shown to be nothing but a liability at the trade table. The f***ing pussy.

F*** his service to the club - this deal gets done the campaigner will have sent us back years and set up our rivals for no f****** reason.

Mate we'll have to assume there's a missing element to the reported trades so far.

Otherwise they've gone crackers.

If we do these trades we are dumber than I thought , but we have been dumb for a while now.
It’s hard to be optimistic when the same clown bent over last year from a position of strength.

These garbage deals if as proposed, could literally set the club back an additional 2 years of a rebuild.

Now I’m no body language expert… but I believe Taz is upset

Will wait for full details but it sure seems light on and surely not capitalising on our leverage (again!)

Take this as gospel.
No other players involved in the JHF trade. JHF and Rioli get to the Power.

Pick 1 is heading to the Giants.
We get back what the mega deal says

It’s cheap thats what it is

Working under Viney who works under Clarkson. Everything checked off. We need to stop overvaluing our assets.
There is an assumption that Clarkson is even involved, Viney would be, but to what degree.

I said it in another post, if your head negotiator is shit, then only a shit deal will be presented.

I would be more comfortable if I knew that Viney was actually in the room and not just evaluating what is fed back by Rawlings.

Would be freeway robbery. Like highway robbery, just on a larger scale. Don't you ******* dare, Brady
It seems this bloke is playing poker with his hole cards up while the others have their cards close to their chest.

Negotiation is a very specific skill and just because you are a manager at something, it doesn’t mean you can sit in a negotiation and make a deal.

If we trade JHF for 3/5ths of * all it's because Clarkson has told them to get rid of the judas. No other way to read it.
Getting rid of a player with that level of talent for peanuts is not good business regardless of their attitude. Talent in the AFL world is a massive commodity and clubs will always pay for talent and potential even if there are attitude issues.

Look at Gartlett, he was given opportunities that other would never be given purely on his potential talent.

My point is that there will always be a club prepared to pay the premium, you don’t need to give it away.

We're already behind the 8ball due to so many factors ranging from Noble imploding the game plan and morale, to the list as it stands, to Clarko's current drama. It's really not out of the realm of possibility that Clarkson and the rest think its for the good of the group to just get it done and get JHF the **** out of there pronto. It's also possible Clarkson said not to fold and that we'll hold him to his contract if we don't get what we want. No trade has happened yet, but unless something is said otherwise if a bad trade happens, I'm going to assume that the club decided he really was a cancer on the group and that him being at the club next year was a net negative when compared to us maybe getting a better deal.

Anyway, Port don't seem prepared to pay a good price let alone a premium. Maybe both clubs are bluffing, maybe only one is, maybe neither are. We'll find out in the next couple of days.

JHF wants to return home, and pick 1 isn't worth as much this year, because after Ashcroft, the next group of young talented kids is fairly even, so to have two selections in the top 5 is a bit of a coup, my issue is with the picks that follow. Port's future first will probably be in the teens, unless they have a bad run with injuries, and any other picks will need to be generous and that allow some flexibility on draft night.

I will wait until I see the final details before I overreact and call for Brady's balls.

"Wow so we get 2 top 3 picks? It's a deal!"
