I think Brady did the best he could with a player who didn't want to be here, so I'm not entirely convinced it's a dud trade, we won't know that for a number of years. Now we have the opportunity to pick two of the best young players in this year's draft and increases our hand in next year's draft. I don't think JHF and Rioli make Port instant contenders, it's possible Port's future first could still be in the single digits. Not a complete loss.

If this dickhead just ignored Ports calls the last couple of days, he would've been sweet. They would've come up with a player or a pick. Now we're *ed. We then lose JHF, 12 and F2 to get 2, F1 and 40. (F3 and 43 swap is even)

Agree with this. If you're making the claim that there's a standout 3, don't trade back, it defeats the whole purpose of trying to get 2 inside the top 3.
