I think Anthony will be a pretty good forward in time but do you honestly think he's better than Bradshaw? Both players are deadly accurate, Anthony may be quicker now but he's got half the strength and contested marking nous of Bradshaw.
Bradshaw is serially under-rated, probably because he hasn't played in Melbourne. I'd back him to kick 70 with our midfield delivering to him next year.

I'd also put money on us making finals next year. Very unlikely we'll be worse than West Coast, Essendon or Sydney, who else is going to push for finals?

I rate Bradshaw highly but it will be interesting to see how he copes of being the number one forward he will obviously get more attention from deffenders.

Bradshaw failed the medical test supposedly... Wouldn't surprise me at all, would throw a massive spanner in the works

Carlton and Collingwood have traded twice in 12 years.

McGuane to Carlton
Scotland to Carlton

Collingwoods only offer is pick 30 in a weak draft. If you wanted him badly enough you would have put up a decent offer. The Brisbane offer is average but it trumps pick 30.

Carlton would sooner have shoved old Brendon through a wood chipper out on the Gippsland Lakes then trade him to the Pies.
They made this clear when they announced they would "charge" us more than any other side.

If and it's a big if, the trade with Brisbane falls through the entire Carlton Board will have to blow every Collingwood Member twice to get Fev off their hands if we are the only port of call.
Swans have admitted they were never in the market and apparently nevr made an offer (grain of salt).

Here's hoping Rischitelli spits the dummy at the last minute tomorrow saying he will not go to Carlton. While this is occuring, we swoop in with a last minute offer and steal Fev. :D

I hope so and I can see it happening

To be completely honest, it seems highly plausible at this time. He's been sounding really sour about the whole deal. It sounds as if he is only doing this because he feels like he has to, because if he destroyed the deal he knows that many, many fans would hate him for ruining their chances at a Brown+ Fev forward line.

Stand up for yourself, Rischa!

This is very interesting!

Has any1 else seen this lilst of indescretions posted by a Bluebagger on the Blues board regarding Fevs incidents Brownlow night?

Holy shit!

I'm not real sure i'm keen to have Fev around the club if this is true.

I've been a strong supporter of getting Fev and saying how he could change his ways, but man, that list is biggers then EARLS!

What a prick!

As long as he kicks 100+ goals for us :thumbsu: LOL

the list is rubbish lets be serious here it sounds like someones trying to make a name for themselves in the media

fevs was being a idiot but that list is rubbish

who cares i just want him to kick us 100 goals and win us the flag for god sakes mick m get the man

that list is more accurate than you think.....

having said that, if there were any chance, I want him at FF. Luke Ball however is now a big priority.

Take comfort in the fact that there is no good outcome here for Carlton whatsoever.

They're going to get screwed....all a matter of how much.

I am in no way defending Fevola actions, but I have to say there is nothing, not a single thing which I have not personally witnessed at a club awards night from some well and truly tanked player, sponsor or supporter at least 20 times in my football career.

If I wrote some of the things I have seen in my time playing footy and Fev had done them he would be in Antarctica hiding from the press.

The real story is Fev got well and truly shit-faced and ran amok.
This is not new, but it is far less acceptable now that the AFL and the Captains and the rest of the footy world have signed up to be the torch bearers for the moral minority and assume the mantle of "role model to the future perfect Australian male."

He embarrassed his club and himself, but nothing he did was worthy of so much as a fine legally.

His biggest sin was to place his Captain in a position where he had to decide between his loyalty to a team-mate and friend or his spouse.
Firstly Judd's loyalty to Fev would be an automatic response as a Captain. It comes with the job. As well as this it is believed they were actually good friends outside of football.
But when it becomes a decision between sport, work, career, or family.
Family does and should always win.

The bond of mateship would have made both Judds decision and Fev's feelings of remorse difficult to bear but once broken was just a loose thread.

Sad end really from that stand point.

The good news is Carlton have suffered again for the event.
